It's ridiculous how over rated De Geas performance was. He made one good save and the rest were all pretty average or just the ball hitting him from close range. More to do with the horrific finishing from the arsenal players. If a player misses from 2 yards out for me that's just a shocking finish rather than a wonderful save.

Arsenal fans can wank over Lacazette but his finishing was one of the reasons arsenal lost today.
If it was one game I'd agree. But it's nearly every game so it's not a fluke. His positioning and reflexes are superb. Look at the one cech let in. Donut thief saves that.

I would be surprised if it was condoned but having said that Mr Macnaman dismissed the Rojo foul earlier in the game as ''he only stood on his foot''.
We have seen kicking out twice at an opponent accepted as normal, the Rojo incident as part of the game so why not jumping onto the back of a leg with intent to harm ?
The BBC called it a mistimed tackle rather than the disgusting attempt to injure that it obviously was..
Not like he's done it before though eh?

Oh, wait.......

Does anyone else think Lingard has one of those faces that you just want to punch?

Especially when he's doing his gay jig after scoring a goal.

C*nt.

If we were to compile a simple A4 list of the things that the great and the good despise about the Swamp Donkeys every last one would be embodied in that turd. i thought Neville was a despicable character when he strutted about in scarlet and don't get me started on Crerand, but Lingard takes the last crumb of the annual production of every McVities biscuit factory worldwide. A thoroughly loathsome person. So loathsome, in fact, that I would be prepared to canonise Fabregarse in comparison.

By canonise, do you mean fire him from a cannon into a pit of burning tar?

Should I have said 'beatify', TMT? Upto LIngard making an appearance my most loathsome PL player by a good stretch of the M62 was dear Cesc, but Lingard has burst onto the scene with that weasel, ratty face and he's just blown the saintly Fabregarse into the Shed End!

De Gae would look like Andy dibble in our set up he can’t pass the ball he doesn’t dominate his area he stay glued to goal, his ideal for a parked the bus Moaninho team.

Anyone thinks that that Pogba's foul on Bellerin was not deserving of a red? United fans argue that Bellerin put his leg in an unnatural position and Pogba was in full stride and in the process unknowingly stepped on Bellerin. That it wasn't possible for him (Pogba) to adjust and refrain from stepping on Bellerin mid air.

What do you think?

Peg masterclass ! Right lads concede 33 attempts on goal, degea you break the record for the most saves in a game on record, defend like plucky underdogs from a lower league throwing bodies in front of anything in the box and scythe down anything you can on the way.

I think they would say that wouldn't they. Just like they are lining it up so they can say they never wanted Bale anyway ( when Real reject their paltry offer ) but back to the original point yes Bellerin's leg was in an unnatural position - it was trailing behind him pinned to the floor by the stamping Pogbad - red card all day long despite 659m people worldwide plus the UK press saying otherwise.

The one to watch is rojo. Probably the dirtiest player in the league and pep needs to highlight this **** before next week. Dont know how he gets away with it but he's going to be a busy boy next week and something has to give.
I want any ref except martin atkinson, he's too soft and he doesnt tend to give early yellows in big games.

Still can't make my mind up. If it were one of ours i'd probably be saying it wasn't a red to be honest. I can see why the ref gave it though as it looked pretty awful on first viewing. Watching it back though, I have no idea what Bellerin was trying to do and he doesn't win the ball either. Pogba is in full stride and I don't think he could have reasonably expected Bellerin to go in like that. I can't decide whether or not Pogba has time to pull out of the challenge but either way I'm glad he's out of the derby and given what lukaku got away with last week I hope they feel massively aggrieved about the whole thing.

It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if it comes out that bellarin gets blamed for putting his leg in an unnatural position and that dabtwat couldn't have put his leg or his other leg anywhere else.
It's all leaning the same way the mane/ederson incident went, ederson shouldn't have been heading a ball that was 5ft in the air as it's flying boot territory.
If boycie got off with kicking out twice then haircut 100 will get this rescinded to a yellow.

trouble is ,it all happens in a split second , but in slow motion I,m pretty certain he leaves his studs in place far too long giving away his true intention of harming a fellow pro ! plus , the balance , skill & speed these players have ,its easy to withdraw a foot rather than leave it in like he did

ffs. "It looked pretty awful on first viewing" Pogba stood on Bellerin`s left leg with the studs of his right boot, then for good measure Pogba stood on Bellerin`s right ankle with the studs of his left boot. He knew exactly where he was standing, for fuck sake these players don`t even have to look at the ball when kicking it.

The game reminded me of last seasons derby where they drew by parking the bus. We had many shots but few were on target.
Tactically they rely on a mixture of bad finishing, good defending and a massive amount of luck to concede few goals then try to nick a goal on the break.

Hopefully we are clinical with our finishing then it should be straight forward otherwise the JM lucky streak will continue .
0-0 until the 93rd minute then up pops RAHEEM.......

I thought Atkinson reffed the Chelsea game very well, he was consistent enough with avoiding early yellows for both teams. It definitely won't be Marriner after last night, nor Dean as he's at the Etihad today. Oliver or Atkinson seems the most likely choice, Moss could be an outside bet.

Don't think it's comparable to the Ederson/mane thing myself. I would disagree with anyone who would argue Ederson shouldn't have been heading that ball. People might not be used to seeing keepers coming out and doing that but he wins the ball and stops a certain goal in the process. Bellerin's positioning makes no sense to me at all and he doesn't achieve anything by going in like that. Having watched it again I'm not sure Pogba could have avoided the challenge all together but I do think it's possible he's used it as an opportunity to leave a bit extra on Bellerin and hurt him. There's a tiny flick of the foot at the end but I guess only Pogba knows for sure. Keep changing my mind about it but in any case I'm glad he went.

just watched this again on you tube , I missed his second stamp with his left foot on Bellerins other ankle , makes my mind up for certain this was dangerous play , disgraceful !
