Great story about oranges from Jose puts him light years ahead in the mind games. Has he read oranges are not the only fruit I wonder

What about him skipping the oranges that weren't ripe yet like De Bruyne and Salah that turned out to be even bigger and juicer?

Listened to the Telegraph pvdcast today and they interviewed their pet rag/ "Manchester correspondent" James Ducker, who reckoned the main thing Sanchez would bring was sheer blistering pace? Am I insane, or is Sanchez not especially quick? Definitely slower than Rashford, Martial, Lingard and probably even Lukaku.

Would have agreed when he first started playing for Barca all those years ago but certainly not now.

In way it's sad seeing how desperate Sanchez is trying to not be labelled a mercenary, over the top speech/blasting Glory glory in the lowery/ posting pictures of his dogs in united clothes.

but he has made his bed so fuck him.

Moureen giving a sour oranges speech about is is absolutely bizarre and the fact he got a two year extension is a good sign, the meltdown will be along in due course when a few bad results start coming in.

And it's funny to see Sanchez in a "drug storm" already. Even though they're trying to tar us with the doping accusations.

All good fun really!

Jose has played a blinder.
In the few weeks running up to this transfer window, he has cut the figure of a down and disillusioned drunk, depressingly bemoaning, that United need to spend big to catch up, because others spend £50m on full backs.
To be fair to Woodward, he has backed him to the hilt. Blowing us out of the water with Sanchez, agreeing a raise for Jose, and dumping a struggling Mkhtaryen with Arsenal.
It doesn't matter how much it costs, they can afford it.
It looks now like their previous managers didn't have the balls to take Woodward on, whereas his defence would be, 'All you had to do was ask, you're the football expert, I'm in sales'.
Fast forward to today. With that signing, you have a rejuvenated squad, a delighted manager with a new spring in his step, who now knows how to get the best players out of Woodward, and it isn't, glory, glory.
I expect United to buy massive this Summer, and so does Jose.
Now, Yeovil, can you please bring 'Apollo Rag' back to planet Earth.

Jose Mourinho

"You go and analyse the numbers and Manchester City, Chelsea, even Everton spend more money than us.

The truth

United’s spent £232 million on player wages last season the highest in premier league.
Not sure why he is talking about Everton, not even close in wages and net spend.

He’s definitely lost a yard.

As they were the highest net spenders last summer he’s decided to ignore net spend. He knows the truth but also knows his thick audience.

Yep, no one mentions net spend unless it suits the rags. Unfortunately no one has a backbone to bring it up

It's bizarre when he says these things that are obviously not true, but are lapped up by the cult like followers, who are too far in to deny it. I can only liken him to Trump for this. Odd club.

All I know is, we have to keep pep here for at least as long as peg is there. pep will always finish above that lot while he is here.
I just couldn't stand the smugness of that **** being above us.
Have you heard the shit about an orange tree he is spouting, it's like he's got a bit of his mojo back because they signed Sanchez. luckily he will come crashing back down to earth like the scousers did after another few games

Pep is a class act and will ignore PEG's latest attempt at mind games , but maybe the club can place a Terry's chocolate orange on every seat in the press room (half a dozen for Neil Custis) surely the sweetest orange of all.

"Oil rich City with racist jibe at Maureen"

Suggest Utd fans consider their league results, and the amount Jose has spent since being appointed: £364m with a net spend of £276m (source: transfermkt.co.uk adjusting Lukaku to £90m) plus agents fees, and agents fees which are off the scale.

Changing costs when it suits debases arguments. Use the transfermarkt stats or don't, but don't change them for 15M

I think it's legitimate if you know for sure the value of a transfer deal. If I was writing a paper or some report, I'd take your advice but for comment on the Internet etc, I think my figure is more accurate
