Totally agree....PSG would do wisely to stay clear of him. Neymar and the rest of the flair players will be isolated in terms of tactics and playing style. Look at maureens time at Real as evidence because he did the same with ronaldo and the rest.

He is outdated, but good enough for a europa league win against mediocre opposition, which if you look back on, they were extremely lucky to reach the final of

I’ll never forgive John Guidetti for that miss.

Yes we do but the rags don't like spending money they don't have too. Maybe if he fails to qualify for champs lge there may be something in his contract to sack him.

There apparently was in both Gollum's and TT's, as they were both given the bullet as soon as CL qualification became impossible.

Why is anyone of the belief that PSG would even want him? Aren't they currently unbeaten, scoring for fun against everyone they play, having just blown close to £300m on two attacking players who don't exactly track back? What part of that would make them want the worlds most negative big team manager who wants wingers to play as fullbacks and sees entertaining football as a bad thing? It's like imagining that we would trade in Pep for Maureen, it just makes no sense at all
Yep agree with that. Why on earth would PSG want PEG anywhere near their club. I truly believe Mourinho is planting this shit in the media.

I heard a pundit this morning say something quite interesting.

Apparently PEG has this bee in his bonnet about getting to 25 career trophies, to be fair there are not many managers who could boast a haul like that.

Given the competition in the EPL and us in particular it is increasingly difficult for him to realise this ambition, if he spends another couple of years at the Rags and fails to add to this tally while still spunking money on transfer fees he could be seen as a busted flush and maybe the top jobs will no longer become available to him.

If this is the case then PSG makes real good sense to him, he is basically guaranteed to win the league and domestic cup competitions each year and all goes to realise his goal of 25 pots.

Couple of pre-season & Europa Leagues and he'll get there...

It was always a silly argument that some United fans came out with about Guardiola having the far easier job of the two. Both came into their respective jobs with a fair bit of pressure to do well and work to do in terms of squad building but both have been afforded similar budgets to do it - budgets so big that neither can complain about a lack of funds and certainly can't be using that as an excuse well over a year into their tenures at either City or United. It could be argued that we had done far more planning for Guardiola's arrival but we still had some major deficiencies to sort out once he arrived, particularly at the back. We've had to replace all our senior full-backs plus Hart as they either didn't fit into his ideal system or were simply too old to be effective in it. United fans have been going on for ages that their full-backs have needed upgrading and by not doing so that represents short-sightedness on their part.

I'm not going to count my chickens just yet but I think a lot of this is down to Mourinho simply being damaged goods these days and as such he isn't the manager he once was. At his managerial peak and with United's transfer budget, I'm sure they'd be doing better.

He would've needed to buy better players.
