Never let's you down this place.

I thought I'd have a nosey to see the usual "He's shit, garbage, bad buy, only worth 30 million post"

I wasn't disappointed.

Anyone who thinks he won't improve the ****s is a fuckin idiot.

This was spot on by the way
Absoulutly bullied us today, class player

Loads of rags out and about tonight celebrating their 2017/18 title win.

I think that they are overcome with emotion due to finally scoring more than one goal in a single game...haha!!!! They will be dominant against the crap teams....the problem for them will be when they play the likes of City and have very little possession of the ball.

Not that it would have affected the outcome as West Ham was just all over the place, but you are right it should have been flagged offside for obstructing that West Ham player from intercepting. The same player also raised his arm for offside because he had to go around lukaku. But if they hadn't been so rubbish at defending, particularly Masuaku and Obiang, they wouldn't have had to face an attacking side in the first place.

Man City comfortably to win the title for me

Man Utd 2nd, they have a class manager, decent squad and Lukaku is a brilliant signing. They lack defensively for me.

Only a few years of transfer fee inflation and Shaw and Lindelhof will be worth what they paid for them

I expect the next team to put 4 past West Ham at home will be crowned champions.

However, anyone who doesn't think they'll be there or thereabouts is living in cloud cuckoo land. Mourinho is getting the squad together that he wants, and they'll probably strengthen again. We've still got a better squad though, but what we don't have is the hoof ball option that will definitely get points in tough games.

I noticed Sky put up a list of the 5 clubs that Lukaku had scored most goals against, safe to say none of them were top 6 material. He'll improve them as they struggled to score at home against the bottom half teams last season so I can see them getting top 4 but they still aren't good enough to win it, there isn't enough quality in depth - compare their bench yesterday to ours at Brighton.

Rags - Romero, Darmian, Smalling, Lingard, Herrera, Fellaini, Martial

City - Bravo, Mangala, Foden, Yaya, Bernardo, Sane, Sterling

There are no real game-changers on the rags bench, except Fellaini for the big hoof into the box. It's a bench designed to hold on to a lead not turn a draw into 3 points or come from behind, which they will have to do at some points during the season.

The Germany team of 1990 were amazing , Liverpool of the 80's and the Arsenal invincibles but I'm afraid already after watching today's media coverage I am placing this United side above them all.

I'm not sure how anyone can beat West Ham at home what an achievement just wow.

Going by his history, this will be PEG's best season in charge. They will challenge but City are the team to beat, if there's any justice in the world City will win it this year.

Why has noone in the media pointed out that Lukaku's transfer fee would pay the rent for West Ham's stadium for 40 years?

Get it sorted, Pep.

West Ham were really really poor, neither parking the bus and defending well or attacking with any real threat. A nothing performance and I wish Zaba had chosen a better managed team for his swan song.
United looked physically strong, direct and dangerous albeit against very poor opposition. I don't think they will be anybody's pushover this season and may turn out to be our main threat. I thought Mata and Mytekarian or whatever he is called were their best players. Injuries to either could cause the wheels to wobble.

But we do. Ederson's goal kicks to the opponent's D is a pretty good option.

I was thinking pretty much the same after seeing them yesterday.

They have a pretty good first team. Fast up front and a lot of strength through out the team. They are going to bully most of the teams in the premier league. Against the top teams they will just park the bus.

Yet once your scratch below the surface, there is not much there. The squad depth will be found out over the length of the season.

They don't have as many options as us, they are strictly battering ram or cattapult. They will pick up enough points off other teams to be a genuine threat for a while. I just think the lack of quality on the bench will be their ultimatedownfall.

What time do we expect pogba's ban for diving???!!! Not heard it mentioned anywhere but it was a blatant dive and under new rules should be punished.
