As already said; gifted an easy start in the league and easy CL group. Nice little confidence booster. Still a bunch of scumbags though.
Nothing would please me more........ apart from them getting relegated. Can’t wait till we play these and stick a shit load of goals in there net
Corrected for you by the SKY/BBC/BT media pundits.Based on tonight's result I think its fair to say they will be CL winners this season.
Spot on. Reminds me of the other half's son. Always spouting off about empty seats at City yet he's been to about half a dozen games at Old Trafford in the quarter of a century he's been alive. In fact, there was a time a few years ago when he had more United tattoos than actual games attended.
I find it even more odd that we're not included in either the calculations or being a 'title rival'
So Maureen complains about having to face the mighty Crystal Palace at home after a C/L stroll - meanwhile we get Chelsea away after a tricky game against a very good Shakhtar Donetsk team!Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho believes his side’s rivals have an advantage in the title race due to the scheduling of Premier League matches after Champions League away ties
Liverpool, conversely, take on Spartak Moscow on Tuesday night and have an extra 48 hours to prepare for their clash with Newcastle on Sunday.
Mourinho has been angered by the lack of foresight in the Premier League’s scheduling and his side face 3pm Saturday kick-offs against Brighton and Huddersfield after taking on Benfica and Basel away from home in the remainder of the group stage
According to the Telegraph, Mourinho is furious with the lack of preparation his side have been afforded compared to the club’s title rivals.
United have around 192 hours of combined preparation after their three Champions League group stage away games but the likes of Liverpool (321,) Spurs (290) and Chelsea (250) have substantially more.
Now without stating the obvious,(pool321)(spuds290)(chelsea250)

Come off it the team they just faced oozed class;-)
Air kick haha
CSKA are crap but they created three or four good chances against the rags last night, the dounought thief saved them. We know by now the rules regarding the media, every victory by them is a masterclass and ours are downplayed or marginalized in the small columns. They are a threat now after a few years in the wilderness but they are too big a club to have stayed down there for long, it was fun while it lasted though.
I don't see them as a threat at all. But also I don't see any kind of seismic catastrophe happening in the very near future for them either...more's the pity. But what I do see is a team that lacks the stability it had under the pisscan, and I don't see it returning any time soon. As we all know Peg is a 'here-today-gone-tomorrow' manager: never sticking around for more than a couple seasons. The rag hierarchy will obviously have been aware of this before his appointment was announced, and I think both they and Maureen are using one another as a stop-gap: a sort of, "it'll do for now" attitude for both parties. Hence the instability.
Us (Pep), (Contè) Chavs, and Pocchettino (Spuds) are here for the long haul: I'm sure of that. And it will be these three teams will dominate English football for the next few years. Klopp I'm not sure of, but I think Koeman will not be around for much longer, and Wenger is preparing to move 'upstairs' with the Gooners.
As things stand the rags are nowhere near the standard set by ourselves and the other two mentioned teams, nor will they be for the foreseeable future.
Personally, I see nothing but long term mid-table mediocrity for the vermin.
