God they are hurting - just spoke to my rag mate. apparently the pendulum will wing and when Silva or De Bruyne get injured we will struggle to get top 4!

Silva should have been sent off. They should have had a penalty, we dived and time wasted, our defenders are all over the show and we are all midgets.

I just said did you see the state of the pegs in your dressing room.

THey are really hurting.

Haha, I'm using that one!!

The main question to come from this though is why Arsene Wenger wasn't asked to clarify almost identical comments he made before Arsenal's game with us.
I thought Wenger's more inflammatory comments came after the game when he couldn't influence the ref. Though it can be argued comments about sterling diving could lead to refs being influenced in future games.
Having said that; most refs would have seen the Sterling "dive" against Arsenal and decided Wenger is a blind toss-pot and Raheem was fouled.

I might be wrong, but is Jose not under some sort of probation for pre-match comments, trying to influence ref's?
With this changing room melee, and his statements disparaging our intelligence, it looks like they're proper gunning for him now.
He could do with getting that T-shirt off Mario!
Old Bobby Charlton will be loving this, he warned them
Ticket tout: What the fuck are you doing Ed, the man is a complete fucking dickhead?
Eddy 3 planks: City have Pep so we need a manager who the media will fawn over. Jose is that man.
Ticket tout: But he'll do a couple of years at most before imploding, he's more trouble than he's worth.
Eddy 3 planks: Will you shut the fuck up you bald has-been, you failed fucking manager, you famously miserable **** if we name a stand in your honour?
Ticket tout: Ooh bribery - yes please.
Eddy 3 planks: Sorted.

It's about time someone started a "Mourinho meltdown watch" thread. I can feel it coming already this weekend if they drop points to Bournemouth.

He is an absolute tool isn't he? "You work for another club, not the press". What an obnoxious prick. Why don't the press call him out, when pep struck back at the media they were claiming everything from him cracking to being disrespectful. When this tool slags them off they laugh nervously. Shithouses to a man.

MUEN in full bullshit mode , they have agreed to sign Bale and PEG is only paying £53m , and Griezman is in the bag , both of them have been life long Rags and K stand season ticket holders , this should generate a few clicks from the 659m and create a diversion from the turgid football they are playing.

And that was Dan Roan of the BBC he said it to.

They have 38 points from 17 games. That's title challenging form in all past seasons. They are not in some decline as we think, but looking so much inferior in comparison to City alone. Last season they were permanently at 6th, now they are solidifying 2nd spot. That's surely an improvement, even though nothing special.

They have the best defense already. They only need Griezmann, Bale and 2 decent fullbacks to seriously challenge us next season (unless Mou implodes and runs to PSG).

You're contradicting yourself there. Best defence, yet need two fullbacks?

Also, just by adding two "big" names, does not success guarantee.

Their squad is distinctly average and needs a sizeable overhaul; Rojo, Jones, Smalling, Shaw, Carrick, Mikhitahryan, Mata, Ibrahimovic, Lingard, should all be replaced with a better version. Possibly even a goalkeeper if De Gea gets cheesed off.

But they won't; they will continue to buy a "big" name for crazy money, because it keeps them in the limelight, sells shirts to the apostles and appeases the creditors.

Which then leads to ignoramus' (ignorami?) on social media telling us "manyoo are back", leading to more coverage, more shirts and pencil cases sold across Asia. And so, the financial wheel continues to rotate.

I'm not a businessman whatsoever, but even I can see that their model is atrocious and solely relies on past successes and keeping them in the spotlight, no matter how.

They won’t overtake us with PEG in charge simply because whilst both clubs can compete financially, Pep is a far better coach and better person than Peg is, has been, or ever will be. It would take a monumental restructure from top to bottom and then years to build up for them to get close to what we have become.
