Hes spent 320million and its still not enough and they are still a million miles from being good enough to challenge us
Apparently at one of these corporate jollies for accountants the utd chaps were saying to mates that Sanchez purchase really fucked them up and caused them a lot of hassle/work to balance it out, if they even have. Not that they are skint but we all have a budget and i think Mourinho fucked utd's a bit by getting one over on Pep. You may say ok so the accountants had to do some work and i would agree. It doesn't sound like the harmonious smooth sailing stuff you would associate with a club kicking ass though does it.

Hopefully that has screwed them a bit for this summer be it they have to sell first or similar. Either way Sanchez cash is a huge dent in anyone's wallet no matter who you are. I know they spread stuff out etc but 600m all in, that is a lot of dough even over 5 years. To swallow that and still get the other players will test the most savvy of cash juggling accountant types.

I see the narrative has moved to Pep inheriting a better squad yet all the pundits at the time were saying Peps tactics wouldnt work and we had an ageing squad

Still cannot fathom how they are comfortably second. This is the worst 2nd placed team in a very long time. A very mediocre footballing side. The disparity between their points tally and performances is staggering. Wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest to see them collapse next season. Liverpool the only side that concerns me at the moment, and even they struggle against sides that sit in.

They're second because for all the insufferable wanking over Liverpool and Spurs they're not actually very good either. Raising your game for big matches vs going the distance in the league are two different kettles of fish.

They started playing in slow mo when they got the 3rd against us. Faking injuries m, taking goal kicks from the wrong side of the box, forever with throw ins. They don’t like it up em do they?
They never have.
They can take all their trophies and all their medals and throw them in the bin - they won them all by cheating. (as Brian Clough might have said.)

When Maureen and Pep took over, didn't we finish on exactly the same points that season?

Deluded, arrogant wankers.

Yes.

And as I have stated before, there are still more of their pre-PEG players at the swamp than there are pre-Pep players here, so how that equates to Pep having more of a ready-made squad than the eye-gouging twat fuck knows.

Oh how I love these twats losing, it makes my day.
And even better is their mardarse fans having hissy fits and contradicting themselves over and over again and having glorious meltdowns.
Mind the gap you softarses.

Do they have political threads that get anywhere near as heated as ours?
They have a current affairs side to their forum. And there's some fairly huge political threads and the place most definately leans Left.
And if you thought trump got flak on here that's fuck all till you've read theirs.

Good old MUEN... even when the rags lose 1-0 the home page headline is still accompanied by a picture of utd celebrating after scoring a goal!

(Or perhaps it was a pic taken from the Brighton game... with utd players celebrating after stringing 2 passes together?)

It might be a MANUre celebration after Brighton scored. Mourinho said that some of his players were not disappointed after losing. Well, there's the culprits!

Their season will be characterised by how many teams from the bottom six took points from them rather than how many teams in the top six they beat!

Their season will be characterised with how giddy they got beating West Ham in August then slowly batted out of the game by the time the Christmas decorations came down.

Back to what they were in the 80s expensive and shite and come no where near getting their hands on a league title in half a decade.

Them poor rag players must be looking forward to the World Cup, then they have to come back in August and take their medicine again.
