It is funny that their greatest manager ever got them into this shit. He hung on in there with an ageing team and spunked a fortune on Van moron so he could leave a winner. They also forget he was one game away from the sack, indeed many were protesting to make it happen.

Where they are now is where they were for twenty eight years before they won their first title in that time. An up and down team who won the odd cup here and there. No in fact they are worse, at least back then they played some decent football. They have spent a fortune to be this bad and need to spend at least three hundred million on six players to try and rectify it. Long may their misery continue.

Could do with Amazon sticking a camera in their board room soon if not already. They will be wanting to push commercial stuff noting how well positioned they are to reach the cl positions again for next season; they can't do that currently right? Can any finance people tell me if that is likely? You know, they can't point behind them to a perfectly working well oiled machine that would usually be enough promise to getting the exposure your noodle company needs or do they use other metrics and standards.

I can't imagine a company being happy at paying cl image rights cash and getting europa exposure or less. Thus current position is a real pain in the neck for their commercial team?
