Could do with Amazon sticking a camera in their board room soon if not already. They will be wanting to push commercial stuff noting how well positioned they are to reach the cl positions again for next season; they can't do that currently right? Can any finance people tell me if that is likely? You know, they can't point behind them to a perfectly working well oiled machine that would usually be enough promise to getting the exposure your noodle company needs or do they use other metrics and standards.

I can't imagine a company being happy at paying cl image rights cash and getting europa exposure or less. Thus current position is a real pain in the neck for their commercial team?

Unfortunately they have enough lemmings all over the world that like the mystery and magic of the club that manipulates a disaster for commercial gain. The sponsorships will keep rolling in,they are like the New York Yankees or the Dallas Cowboys. All 3 are utter wank at the sport they play but can command big money on the sponsorship deals.

I say let them have the money, it makes the situation they have found themselves in for the last half a decade even more painful for them. The glazers won’t relinquish power any time soon as they have found their version of the Yankees and Dallas Cowboys and it pays their mortgage and sends their kids to university many times over. Why sell it and why compete in a sporting sense?
