Given todays game some thought and given my dislike of both I would like to see the following. Liverpool to batter them so everyone can see how far United are behind them in terms of quality. However Liverpool fail to score despite overwhelming superiority and United sneak up the other end in last minute, an offside breakaway and the ball into the box turned into the Liverpool net by either VVD or Milner, sod it, both of them.

This scenario would likely satisfy my inner demons
