They really are turning into the history boys of the league, just heard a section on talksport about them being in talks with DeGea over a new contract, they then put on a recording of their managers views. Usual shit that you would expect along the lines of points he has saved, how valued he is and how in his opinion he is the best keeper in the world. And then he ends with the comment " Just as Peter was when he played here".
I have noticed this now, he seems unable to answer anything without referencing his time under the GPC.
I understand they have this bullshit notion about the U*****D way but fuck me this must be wearing thin with the players.
The SSN segment was better, the 'best keeper in the world' part was illustrated by him stopping* a shot that was hit straight at him.

*you couldn't really call it a save.

Just looked at the City thread on ragcafe. One of them suggested that puma gear is shit and a poor man's nike.
What the fuck are Chevrolet then???
:-0

Puma is not as good as nike. I agree with the rag.

The gear Vinny has in in the promo pic looks like it’s out of the bargain bucket at Sports Direct. Hope the kits are better!

Now I'm big enough to admit singing about it in the early 80's etc and would have words with anyone doing the same thing now. Older and wiser and all that....
So it is disappointing to hear of a Palace fan doing it - but getting the police involved? Really? Don't they have far much more worthy activities to go after than this?

Its a despicable action likely to incite violence, publicly showing that such behaviour will not be tolerated, and will be immediately dealt with, might just prevent any future escalation and any other ****s thinking it's a good idea.

Apparently, they make videos to promote season ticket sales then? B-b-b-but, I don't understand; I thought there was a waiting list hundreds of years long, with people remortgaging their homes for the chance to get a sniff of a season ticket at "The theatre of dreams"?

For me, this and the Hillsborough and Heysel stuff, as well as the recent chants mocking the death of the Cardiff striker are all off-limits. I'm not sure what it is about sports fans that clouds their judgement and has them embarassing themsleves with insidious and wholly inappropriate chants about tragedies. In any other walk of life, hearing a grown man or woman sing about someone's death because the latter happened to play for a rival team, would make someone cringe and question your IQ. Unfortunately, it's relatively common in football, for some reason.

It's not only unfunny, but also plain stupid. I hope that these types of situations and the racism situations are eradicated. These aren't the types of fans we need in football, in my opinion.
