Lake stayed on his feet n that was the key!

I’d forgotten that Viv Anderson played on that wonderful occasion.
It was more than 'stayed on his feet 'V70....It was a glourious exhibition of two- footedness..(Ambipedal) the predominately right footed Youth team product,asked,by Machin,to play left midfield,on his weaker side..,and destroys former england right back anderson,never mind his two european cup victories..Lake put you on your arse..in front of your own fans in platt lane before Oldfield stroked in the cross.4-1 City...cue mass exodus of raggies from platt lane end.A. wonderful memory .
