Ole is a ****
Got his decades back to front
He still thinks he's in ninety nine
But United are all out of time
Dur did dur dur did dur dur
Dur did dur dur did dur dur
Still twenty points of the top
Give him the job

Ffs it was only the picture of Mancini telling the piss can to f#ck off - please can someone put me out of my misery and post it?

I will stick to my remedial worded posts in future and stop trying to better myself..........

Once again Appalling gets away with grabbing an opponent and bundling him to the ground in the area. Every fucking game he plays it's the same old story: Opponents get a corner, the ball floats over the top, and there he is, like a Sumo wrestler, arms wrapped around an attacking player physically hauling him to the ground.

Nobody will convince me ref's don't see it, they see only what they want to see.
Guarantee he'll do it against us at least 3 times at corners and fuck all will be done by the ref

Still expect the rags to give him the job full-time, but it shows how far they've fallen. They're going to finish near 20 points behind the champions for the second successive season, while being well behind their two biggest rivals.

Second successive season doesn't really tell the story since the pisscan retired.

2017/18 - 19 points behind 1st
2016/17 - 24 points behind 1st
2015/16 - 15 points behind 1st
2014/15 - 17 points behind 1st
2013/14 - 22 points behind 1st

They've been finishing on average 19.4 points behind the title winners over the last 5 years, this is just a normal season for them. Even on the years they get things right, or rather, things go their way (2014/15 and 2017/18), they're still miles off a title win.

I was listening to Radio Two, though the BBC’s commentary that day was the Scouse derby. The first time they went to Stuart Hall, it was already 2-0, and that was followed closely by the players leaving the pitch, while the police evicted shithouses from the Kippax.

The next thing was, "There’s been another goal at Maine Road". I was expecting one for the rags, but of course, it was Bish's great header. I couldn’t believe it I spent the rest of the match - and the next week - in dreamland. It was a fantastic feeling.

If City supporters had been told pre-game you can win 5-1, but it will be 13 years before you beat them again, I reckon most would have taken it.
Just watched highlights again V70.we both have our memories eroded by time..
It was 0-0 when the plsyers were called off due to fighting in the North Stand..3.05 pm precisely
And quite a few reds remained in the NS all game, you can see them looking suitably quiet when our first two goals go in..

Lake takes Anderson on for goal No.2,has a shot saved by the leighton amd Morley stabs home...the roar of disbelief for this goal still brings a tear to my eye.lake also sets up goal no4 by beating pallister and leighton, and crossing with his left foot.
It was bedlam on the Kippax,no one expected to be 1nil up,never mind 2.......the fighting in the NS helped City players and their nerves...

As a side note,Helen Turner looks remarkably calm amongst the utd? fans around her for all 3 goals..doesnt get up to celebrate..must hv bin tense for all concerned, esp after a load of reds had been escorted out...leaving a load stilll in there for the remainder of the match.

Good point, pretty staggering looking at those numbers. 15 points behind the champion is the best they've done since the last time they won the league...and every single one of those seasons they finished behind God's own.
