The small bit of info they are missing is Zidane was managing Real Madrid, he was a Madrid legend. If I was ZZ I wouldn’t touch it with a barge pole. I’d suggest PSG is more realistic.

He is very much untried and untested in a different environment and therefore a much bigger gamble than some think.

I know this was true to some extent about Pep coming here. However, Pep was much longer established and more of a known quantity than ZZ.

I agree with you. I’d give it a swerve too if I were him.

Fans are desperately clinging to Mou & continuing to spin for him, conveniently ignoring the scorched earth approach he has taken throughout his career when it comes to the media, his own players and the bosses that ultimately look forward to showing him the exit. Delusional lot
Just like they all stood up and gave Moyes a standing ovation that day when the planes flew over the Swamp. Now you will not find one of them who will own up to backing him to the bitter end.
They also sang songs ad nauseum for LVG the whole time he was there and dropped him like a sack of hot shit once he was fired.
Wait until the sad day of reckoning for the Sourfaced One comes. He won’t have a single friend on that day despite his 2 trophies and best League position since St Alex’s day.

Thing is Real Madrid seem to have this “uncanny” ability to do well in that completion. Call it a mindset or fluke they’ve won it loads. Zidane rode that wave. Can he take a club with no clear strategy, no clear way of playing or recruiting and do the same? I’d suggest it’s highly unlikely. I’d be more worried about Poch turning up.

In principle yes. I think he’ll be waiting a long time. I’d back Arteta and Kompany ahead to him.

I hope you are right on the period of time he stays for, I don’t think this team has hit its full potential and will be interesting to see what level Sane, Jesus, Sterling, Bernardo, Mendy,Stones, Laporte, Foden and Ederson achieve in their coming careers with City. If you look at Madrid, Barca, Bayern etc they don’t have a group of players this age that are already the core of the squad, we are already ahead of them in that sense, let’s hope it starts to show in the champions league.

Pep loves football too much and what he can achieve with this team to go anywhere else.

Cant find one of them that cheered the ball juggler (Micheal Knighton) but they all never missed a game
trouble with him was he told them what they were sat on

Doesn't matter what manager they have you can't polish a turd. They have spent badly with absolutely no strategy given the lack of continuity or thought in relation to managerial appointments.

They will need to spend another 1/2 a billion to catch us.
