Maybe the Glazers are reluctant to give Maureen any more money because they've gotten sick of his ultra-negative football? Perhaps they're tired of the man's petulance and dour personality and want him out?
They cannot not notice that us and other teams are playing good football and attracting new fans and admirers: that we're playing out from the back instead of hoofing it up the other end like pub teams from the 70's and 80's. They know only too well that despite Maureen spending a jaw-dropping amount of money they were a long long way behind us last season, in both points and plaudits from the British media.
