Peg and Pogbad, it was so obvious what would happen. I've never had a good word for Ferguson, but he saw, in Pogba, a bad egg. He wanted him out of the club, not because of his football ability, but because of his disruptive/childish attitude, so sold him for peanuts. Why are people surprised when he came back, even for £96 million, still a bad egg. Peg is a has been, he looks beaten, its OK stating his past glories but he has turned toxic which is why he fucked up big style in his last job and to me that's more relevant. Add a bit of both, stir, and wait for the reaction.

Swerved a bullet with Pogba

This is down to dick measuring in the extreme between these two

Great to watch from the outside though

Well just spent a pleasant couple of hours in the centre of Nantwich. Went with the sole purpose of finding some rags with which to interact. None to be seen anywhere, not one single top to be seen. Even made a point of going for a pint in the local rag pubs two owned by a staunch rag clan...empty, management and rag clientele, staff, nowhere to be seen.

Here in Nantwich we dont have quite the rag infestation of other less fortunate towns but they can usually found anytime of the day. Not today though.

Despite a tolerable if still significantly unpleasant but increasingly quiet rag count in Nantwich all is not sunshine and plenty. We have a huge infestation of the other filth, an increasing number of plastic scousers are polluting us. If they beat Chelsea and us the title is as good as won apparently.

Admirable you would believe that, he is selfish nothing else. His actions have proved how selfish he is. He left the best team in the world to go to a team who hadn't won anything in a long time who was playing in the UEFA Cup. Everyone is saying Sanchez is a mercenary (which he is) but at least he went to a team higher up whilst getting paid more. I'd love to believe players bought into "the project" but realistically the success is an added bonus.
This is a Utd thread so I will try not to harp on but I disagree.
Had you said that of players like Adebayor or possibly Nasri I would concur.
Yaya is certainly a complex character but I think it simplistic to say he is purely self centered on the pitch the actions of his team mates towards him spoke of a player who was both liked and admired in parts . At his best he absolutely bust himself dragging the team forward in a manner that would is incompatible with a single financial motive. He had a real pride in how he played.
