Loving some of the comments on there;
"We’re not European giants. We’re not even domestic giants. The special one has turned us into stoke city."
To which the reply came;
"That's a bit harsh on Stoke, mate"

Lad on the right looks like he's been in a famin and that fat cnut looks like he caused it

I'd love it if someone connected to City got their hands on the banner (which has to be languishing somewhere) moreso if it went on display at the Etihad, to serve as a perpetual reminder of the naked arrogance and utter gracelessness of our neighbours when we were on our upppers - neighbours who wouldn't even exist today if it wasn't for our previous benevolence.

Then again it's united, what do you expect? They are just a small club with a small mentality.

Wasn't there talk about it going in a museum?

If that's the case they could have just left it where it was, given it an inventory number and put a little brass plate next to it. "The museum of dreams"

Says a lot that pep said in his last press conference that it is a 5 horse race. Us, Chelsea, Liverpool, spurs and Arsenal.

No mention of the rags, rightly so, but maybe more telling is the lack of reaction and fury from the media about discounting the rags. They know it too, and this year Europa league qualification would be a success. What kind of hit that will mean their books take is a delightful guessing game.

Until they scrape another one goal win over a bottom five side, then the rag media fluffing party is back on!

Abou Ben Adhem
BY LEIGH HUNT
Abou Ben Adhem (may his tribe increase!)
Awoke one night from a deep dream of peace,
And saw, within the moonlight in his room,
Making it rich, and like a lily in bloom,
An angel writing in a book of gold:—
Exceeding peace had made Ben Adhem bold,
And to the presence in the room he said,
"What writest thou?"—The vision raised its head,
And with a look made of all sweet accord,
Answered, "The names of those who love the Lord."
"And is mine one?" said Abou. "Nay, not so,"
Replied the angel. Abou spoke more low,
But cheerly still; and said, "I pray thee, then,
Write me as one that loves his fellow men."

The angel wrote, and vanished. The next night
It came again with a great wakening light,
And showed the names whom love of God had blest,
And lo the rags were 10th! Yes 10th LO 10th but still 10th.

I know we shouldn't condone such but to see someone slap his fat face mid rant would he just beautiful. Who remembers that pretty girl who belted the rag as he filmed her at the swamp? That was just superb lol!

Don't remember that one mate. Would love to have seen it

Was with a rag I know last night who I don’t see very often. We started talking about “great” league teams and he obviously said the 99 team was the best. I pointed out that they won the league with very few points etc and that the best ever league team was us last year. Most points, wins, goals etc.. he just would not have it and said the invincibles were better. I ended by saying it does not bother me anyway as you only started liking football in 92, to which he could not respond.

The wait is so lovely. Sly are going to feel the hit. When they find a drop in revenue from advertising when showing raggy games. When firms no longer feel justified in paying over the odd to be included in rag games that’s when we will see a drop off in the love in. Conversely advertisers will want to be associated with our games because of the football we play. You saw what ****ona said and he is not alone. People, especially, neutrals will switch the rags off and this will start to impact on Sly revenue. The wait is just delicious. You know it’s coming it is only a matter of time.
