Of all the complete bollocks that the GPC has come out with over the years, for me the most telling of all was when he said about City:

“There's plenty of talk from them but I disregard it really because it is all talk!"

The sheer arrogance of that quote is staggering. His club’s refusal to even acknowledge what was happening around them and their unwaivering belief that just because they are manchester united nothing can threaten their supremacy is breathtakingly naive for supposedly the worlds greatest club. And so they’ve only got themselves to blame for where they are now. Lets just hope that bacon face enjoys sucking hard on the cock of Karma as he watches his shitty club collapse.

Instead of believing his own hype and scheming to protect his legacy he should have been acting in the best interests of the club. Rather than trying to come up with clever soundbites what he should have been doing was warning the club that “if you fail to prepare you should prepare to fail” and acted accordingly.

Yes and how many of those match going fans were alive when the tragedy happening, they will not be aware that our Club was touched by the event also. Their disgusting club treated the families of the victims atrociously and then years later decided it was a money spinner, disgusting behaviour. The person who gave them the success they think is their birthright, by any means possible and many of them extremely underhanded, is now 78 years old that would be a more appropriate number to chose. But as you say they should have tried being in our shoes, they wouldn’t have felt so entitled after going through the years of misery we all did.
There is a book written by a united fan, 'The Lost Babes', which shows how disgusting the behaviour of that club was to the families of the dead and survivors in terms of lack of financial assistance and eviction from club houses and the whole fiasco where the match to raise funds for these people turned out to be 'the Cantona Roadshow'.
I am sure you know this already but it is not common knowledge amongst young and not so young football fans due to sly nut successful media manipulation
But what really surprised me was to learn that for many years there was no commemoration by the club and even little tributes left by fans and families were cleared away by the club almost immediately.

And then they discovered the Golden Goose and shamelessly exploited it and continue to do so 62 years later content in the knowledge the media will never say any adverse about the rags' behaviour.

With regards to the walkout, they chose the 58th minute from a long list. Also on it was the 65th to signify the 1965 rotten meat scandal. the 70th minute with regards to 1970 when the Ticket tout got done. Other suggestions were the 74th minute (work that one out for yourselves) and the 83rd minute to signify Edwards looking under toilet doors at young ladies weeing. That was ruled out as it was realised most people would have already left by then.

Yes I am well aware of all the points you make, the media and fans of that despicable Club continue to act like Ostriches over that particular event.

Never ever forget his indignation at "The Welcome to Manchester" poster. The twat had sat in the swamp watching the clock banner for all those years and basically condoned it. I would love to sit down with him and ask him why one was OK in his eyes yet the other wasn't.

Plus the likely astronomical wage.

As a package he is damaged goods. He will get a move, but it won’t be the move he or his agent wants.

Potentially Madrid may be stupid enough to do it, but aside from them I just don’t see it.
He will go back to Juve for less than half of what the rags paid, I recon

Spoilt plastic brats - they don't have to look too far up the road (Bolton and Bury) to see what real fans suffering really is. Pathetic.

The thing that gets my goat is the fact that the Manchester City council in 1902 allowed a team from outside of Manchester to use OUR City's name. All the other boroughs use the name of where they are from Oldham, Bury, Stockport etc etc but utd stuck two figures up to Trafford and wanted to use our City's name. ( I think I am right ! ). Yet time after time we help that club out and for what for them to throw it back into our faces. Sometimes on their blazers they wear the Manchester coat of arms, does Manchester allow other clubs from the Greater Manchester area to wear our coat of arms badge ?.
I find it odd that utd arent proud to be from Trafford, after all that's were they form after going bust as newton heath and left Manchester for Trafford.
I know at the time Manchester council thought it would be good to have two Manchester clubs just a shame they chose that lot ti use our name and not Stockport !!

It really would piss me of when commentators would just call them Manchester, I think Pleat did it alot . I would scream 'they arent from Manchester' ...

Yep a lot of us are unaware of the years immediately preceding Munich as there has been so much BS since. Most rags dont want to learn the truth either.
