BUT for them its all or nothing and now beating little old manchester city is now a feather in their cap ??? just think back to the last game before lock down the joy of beating city the fans going daft ? fergie and bobby charlton in the stand all thinking they have just won the league ? that is what it means to them and all the bollocks about liverpool being their main rivals hahaha

I agree although try not to let it show, going with the ‘just another game’ line as this is what they used to say when we beat them pre 2010, find it has the desired effect of winding them up!!

and I do not see it ending anytime soon. Bobby Manc was the one who told us that it wasn't about beating them, it was about winning trophies. For years we did what they are now doing now, desperately hoping for a Derby win so they have something to feel good about.

After one of his early matches Mourinho was going on about him but after some hesitation calledd him 'the kid'. Bloody obvious he had forgotten his name.
These things happen but some clunt in the media reported it as 'the kid as Mourinho affectionately calls him.....' A small lie but a typical outright media lie and another piece in the jigsaw

i can see where you are coming from but its now more important to win silverware than beating united ? i feel if we wanted we could beat united anytime. but other things keep cropping up like champions league or cup games. we don't have to bust a gut trying to beat them in a one of game anymore. and just look at the league cup semi final 2 legs job done in 20 odd minutes at OT and city just coasted the rest of the time

i hate united with a passion and its born on the dark days of city being poor and badly run by a clueless chairman add many other poor managers and players. and without any hope of glory the derby was the highlight of the season or a pipe dream in city case because we was in a lower leagues and i think we was in 7 different leagues in a row at one time. so i now beating them was big to city fans

united now city are top dogs and miles better both on and off the pitch ? the way they treat the derby games says it all. beating city is a feather in the cap and keeps a poor manager in his job and their loony fans happy

Don't get me wrong, when we surrendered just prior to lockdown I was fuming but, it was not the end of my world which it would have been pre 2012. All we had between 1976 and then was our camaraderie and the chance to occasionally beat the scum. Now the tables are turned, they have nothing to look forward to and the only thing to look back on is the fact that they stopped us winning the title thanks to a disgraceful referee and a piss poor second half. The fact that they then fucked up 3 days later passes them by. Yes I want $ly to have stats in front of them that they refuse to quote, 'The rags have not beaten City since' etc but whilst we are racking up trophies and they are desperately clinging to 5th I will not lose much sleep if we lose a derby.

Lovely of Ole to tell us all that Henderson should be England number 1. I'm sure Gareth will comply soon enough. He also says he will be Uniteds number one whilst saying de gea will be United's number 1. He's got this management gig sorted then. Two goalies, ten defenders, twelve midfielders, six attackers, all built around a haircut coincidentally attached to a man.

No question from the journos about how Henderson is also in a unique position of having a huge conflict of interests in whether Sheffield United to Manchester United finish fifth. I really hope he doesn't drop the ball in the last round of games should it be needed, thus allowing his parents team to nab the European spot.
