No am suggesting that he's done some good work, reached the first objective of getting back into the CL and deserves to go into next season. Is he the long-term answer? It's very doubtful but whoever takes over will inherit a far better situation then the one Mourinho left.

" Getting back into the CL " and " deserves to go into next season " ?

Surely you should acknowledge the assistance that utd have received from PL and PIGMOL if you are considering all the factors which have contributed to assist OGS and his" success this season ", resulting in an unbelievable number of penalties being awarded , and some of the most obviously incorrect decisions at that.

And those penalties were awarded not to an out and out attacking team, but to a team which sits back and hits teams on the break . Without " assistance " those statistics simply do not add up.

And of course there is the small matter of money spent on the team , which is not inconsiderable , although doesn't get anywhere like the crticism thrown at other teams.

You pop up on here every now and then to take the piss out of my team..

Tell you what, it's all about standards, we get hammered for falling short of the exceptionally high standards we have set ourselves over the last several seasons whereas the rags don't appear to have any standards whatsoever to fall off short of..

Kick and rush, diving, conning the ref and VAR assisted penalties are where the rags are now..

Some fkin standards you have there..!

Your clueless manager was rooted to the bench whilst you were getting gubbed in a competition we can't qualify for and you've got the fkin cheek to question Pep's achievements..!
Not a fan then?

Well clearly we have improved because the defensive record has tightened up massively. We had no Pogba between August and lockdown. Rashford was our best player then picked up a bad injury and still doesn’t look fit. Fernandes was a summer target but only arrived at the end of January.

You got 66 points and won fuck all.

Which is exactly the same as the season before.

"Clearly we have improved".

Deluded.

Lets not forget what Richard Scuadmore said in 2016 well before anyone had heard of VAR .

Speaking to Sky Sports News HQ from the Premier League launch in Islington, north London, he said: "Without being disrespectful to any club, we have a strategic plan at the Premier League and the strategic plan says putting a new name on the trophy in every six-year period.

"That doesn't mean we don't want any team to win it. It just means we would rather see some sort of rotation, for all neutrals in the game (what Leicester achieved) was a big moment."

The Foxes' stunning success dominated headlines across the UK and globally, with some broadsheets and red tops adopting an uncustomary blue look in tribute to Claudio Ranieri's champions.

"People thought that perhaps Leicester wouldn't have resonated around the world the way some of the bigger clubs would have," Scudamore added.
