I was aghast when he said that, can't believe the media ignored it. His 'strategic plan' was match manipulation in plain sight. I would have sacked him immediately everyone else within his immediate charge and ask him to explain his comments in court.

Because I don’t get comparing season by season, each one is unique. But if you really want to go there then look at our 2nd half of the season record and our record against the supposed top 6.

He should have been up in front of the Digital, Culture, Media & Sport Select Committee for those comments. He basically intimated that there was a plan in place to decide the outcome of the Premiere League prior to the competition taking place. Essentially organised match fixing by the competition organisers.

I don’t get this second half of the season shit, what has it got to do with anything? The same as unbeaten in 2019, who cares? It’s a 38 game season with a single trophy at the end.

What next? We’re unbeaten on Mondays since 2012, the longest unbeaten stretch on a Monday since the premier league began.

Half the time it just depends on when the away fixtures are played against the better teams.

Did the fans of some club win nothing and make up a second half the season table? Sounds like something Arsenal or Liverpool fans would do, STOP IT!
