You do remember beating them when we was shite right? Of course we was as sad. It was our biggest game of the season and beating them was all we had to play for. I’d never mock them for celebrating, it’s just ironic considering they don’t care about us

We as fans may have gone mental but our players never did a lap of honour ffs.

The 5-1 was a team full of local city fans so understandable but any other was normal team celebrations

I'd love it if our players done that. Their is a belief and confidence running through the club right now. Your players didn't even look at arsed at all. Maybe one eye on the champions league I guess

Ragamuffins have to feed on a few scraps these days. Perhaps they have adopted our mindset of a few years ago when I thought we could be relegated just as long as we stuffed the Swamp Donkeys twice. But one thing never changes at The Swamp - every fuckin' donkey is a thoroughbred, every flea-bitten moth is a butterfly and every mangy duck is a swan!

Embarrassing as fuck doing a lap of honour only if a trophy is at stake at the end of the match or it’s the final game of the season where players walk round pitch to thank the fans,it actually shows them up even more how fucking small time they are ..

I would even if we were average, celebrating a derby like a cup win.

love doing it (winning) but a lap of honour? No chance.

Obviously spurs are still the tin pot team and fans I always thought they were.
 
Lap of honour is pretty pathetic, enjoy the derby win, for sure but that’s about it. The media wankfest is completely ott too. They’ll invent a 5th place trophy just for United.
 
When we were a mid-table team I'd have got giddy about a win over the rags, so fair fucks. Stage one of the plan was turning them into 90's Liverpool, stage two of them becoming early 2000's city is underway, and god willing we'll see them turn into late '90's city before long. The league double trophy will polish up nicely next to their 2nd leg of the league cup shield.
