They played out of their skin mate , and raised their game and treated it like a Derby , dont think Bassaka had a better game than Walker he was probably our man of the match , and we played into James and Rashfords hands in the 1st half , really poor tactically today , Pep knew the dangers but we just played our normal game , he just wont change his game plan , he's a stubborn bugger.

One of the worst performances under Pep. We need to get Ferna back into DM a.s.a.p., stick Garcia in defence ffs... what have we gotta lose now?
As for Angelino... sorry fella, but we sold you because you weren't good enough - nothing has changed my mind.
 
They're not as bad team as we think they are and as the table would make you to think. xG table , for some time now, shows that they should have been in top 4. They need to find a way to break lesser teams and they'll be up there. If they scored some missed penalties they would be in 30s so far.
 
What surprised me the most how easy their tactic of under 12s kick long to the 3 fast kids work. Plus how much the players celebrated at the end throwing their shirts and dancing etc. Than it dawn on me how much has changed we are now their cup final.

Rags of old and Madrid won lot of things playing that kind of tactics. It's very efficient one with right players. They haven't got an answer to break smaller teams that don't attack them though.
 
Neville described their play as ‘scintillating’ in the first half...

I think it was more a case of us playing terribly than them being good.

They did defend well, though.

If we had Laporte and or Vinny that tactic wouldn't have worked cos they both can anticipate the long ball and cut it out

I suspect that Garcia is that type of player as well can see him and Laporte being the centre half pairing next year
