That's the most laughable thing about it as Litmanen was an excellent player but no-one barring his mother would pick him as 'the' best player they had seen.

Straight off the bat I can think of 50 players who have outperformed him in the Premier League during the twilight of his career (which is where she will have witnessed the lion share if not all of his performances).
