Grandson. Fourth generation Blue in dynasty starting off in the 1920s with.my dad although his older brother took him walking from Angel Meadow to Maine Road possibly even Hyde Road. So nearly a hundred years unbroken support. Great to hear him say 'Grandad' and 'Come on you Blues' :)

My Aussie kids take great pride when being called glory hunters that they are 4th generation blues. Me & brother also married blues so all extended family were City, there would always be a miserable red married to a cousin getting the piss taken out of them for never going.
You win together & lose together, it’s a bond.

Fortunately there were very few rags in our big Irish family. A cousin who had travelled the world with his dad got tainted away from Manchester and his son followed suit. A female cousin married a real rag who always made for interesting chats at family funerals.
Another female cousin living in Scotland visited my dad years ago with a young son. There was a very unusual photo of my dad and this lad wearing the only rag shirt allowed in my dad's house and garden.
That might seem a lot but basically it amounts to one cousin and two of their kids out of about 30 cousins and their kids. Time and distance cause difficulties in remembering everyone.

My dad also did a bit at the Express on Ancoats, early days.

People don't realise Thomson House was the biggest machine room in Europe, remember walking round it as a kid with my dad and getting cash off all the print workers.

Unfortunately, my dad caught his hands in the rollers one night and it took his finger off and the presses automatically stopped the entire print run.

They managed to sew it back on but it has never really been much use ever since.

My dad hated Shah, Brenda Dean, never did jack shit for my dad or his like when Maxwell brought in colour or fucked off with £85k of his pension.

Remember him dancing around the table when news came in Maxwell had gone for a long dip off his boat...
Same with my Dad who did loads of work "on the stone" he was a sports sub at NOW, also did stuff at DM, MEN - he would have known your Dad I reckon

The really worrying fact is, he's got 40,000 likes.

Nah, more telling than worrying. Look at Pogba. Has his usual one decent game out of five and he's labeled world-class (again). Same with Freddy Mercenary. He was getting slated a week ago. Plays well against a shite/depleted Roma and he's back to world-class. If you owned the club, reading the thoughts of these(only the last game counts)online idiots, why bother changing the format? They'll do the usual splash on some player, the fans will get giddy until it dawns on them at the thick end of the season that they ain't good enough(again), and the cycle continues. Nothing but a cash cow.

Right, the posters that know me will agree that I ask the right questions, the ones most avoid, the Friday night toughie, so......
We are invaded by aliens who conquer us, they give us a choice, either:
a) become a rag fan
or
b) become enslaved by the aliens.
So the question is do you choose the Zilurian salt mines or the Krasnik desert looking for water?
I’d start writing that sci fi book that you’ve always wanted to but not had the time.

redcafe are so deluded once again going on about money, we have been shit this season & their team is just as good.

the most deluded set of fans in world football.

which will make it all the more sweeter when they get humped by the dippers tomorrow which means we would be champions and the Glasers are still holding onto their purse strings

In their review of today’s game one person makes the great point to the effect that we have been so bad this season we are similar to Liverpool last year !!!!
