Do if Cavani is staying another year. They wont be signing any other striker. Bless.

Scoring goals doesn't seem to be an issue, though. 67 goals in 34 games is 2 goals per game. 109 in all competitions.

City have 72 goals in 35. 120 goals in all competitions.

On paper, you could argue that neither teams require a 100 - 150m striker. Especially when Pep has proved this season that City don't need Aguero anymore. Who would have even considered such an off the wall concept a year ago. But there you have it. Everybody else pitched in.

Maybe this is the way forward, and number 9's are a thing of the past.

He played matches without strikers last season. He's done it before that as well.
You wait till he starts playing without centre backs, that will be the next evolution.

Short term thinking wont get them anywhere.
They should get the granny shagger back out of retirement whist they’re at it, still only 35.
Fuck me Giggs is still running down the wings Iast I heard, so bring him in too.
Good old 4 4 2…what could possibly go wrong!
G wing?

significant drift in the odds for the rags to win tonight-2.56ish to 2.84 suggests rotation.

Wouldn't you rather he be around so we can watch him suffer as those entitled handbag-riot merchants fail to eclipse City? As the owners ignore his cries and whimpers and angry outbursts? As they ignore capital expenditures on the grounds and the youth side while City invests and our young players flourish and begin to slowly replace older players? As an increasing number of children in Manchester grow up with DeBruyne and Foden and Mewis posters on their walls? As Pogba ages? As Martial fades? As Shaw widens? As they slowly become Spurs . . . then Arsenal . . . then Leeds . . . then Portsmouth . . . then (old) Rangers?

A slow asphyxiation over the next 30 years would be more painful then Goodfella-ing him.
I wait in anticipation for your next revenge movie to hit the screens. ;-)

I seriously hope Man Utd rest a lot of players and lose tonight otherwise Liverpool will end up getting 4th.

I don't care what Utd do tonight, and what the gap is to City, I will be hoping Man Utd beat Liverpool. The only way that happens is if they rest a serious amount of players tonight.
If their rivalry is as big as they try and make out, all rag fans will be wanting them to lose tonight so Liverpool don't get top 4.
