Think he's more just trying to flog his film so has to turn up place to remind people he's alive.
The penalties are just the powers that be trying their best to get them in a title race. Any year without them or the dippers challenging is unacceptable for the pl bosses
Are we not sending mike summerby over to give the Villarreal boys a pep talk?

He didnt need to bring an entourage of 12 people who all travelled and stayed first first class
Included in his invoice for £90,055.01 was a £15,869.94 bill from the Mottram Hall Hotel for him and his entourage. He stayed for 3 nights while his entourage felt it necessary to stay up to 5 nights all expenses paid.

I’ve not checked but City were above Utd for 9 seasons from about 1897. I’m sure we were above them for much of the 1920s & 30s too.
For 9 seasons between 1922-23 and 1937-38 the rags were in the 2nd division while City were in the 1st and won a League title and an FA Cup. They only escaped relegation to the 3rd division by the skin of their teeth on the last day in 1933-34 and of course during that period they were rescued for from imminent bankruptcy for a second time by their second sugar daddy James Gibson.

Before Gibson's arrival to bail them out financially they were so strapped for cash that they couldn't afford a new kit and played in such a tatty and threadbare kit their own fans nicknamed them the rags. Then City came along and, in one of many unreciprocated acts of kindness, bought them a new kit.

I read in one of Gary’s books that although they nicknamed themselves "the rags", they hated it if City supporters did so.

But I thought they’ve ALWAYS been a bigger club than us...
