I should probably put in this in the dipper thread but I think he has totally fucked that side up. Free transfer on big wages, big name, coming into the cult as a new one but a well known name. Something has disrupted it there and I dare say its him

If Liverpool these last two seasons have shown anything it's that you can play like shit, win, and the luck just won't run out. So it's not unreasonable to think about United being threats. Especially when they keep winning against all the non top 6 sides. We have a tough run of fixtures in February and it's not unfeasible that United keep shithousing their way to wins and actually be top of the table come late February/early March before they play us.

Saying that, their luck may run out. It's also worth noting that Leicester, Tottenham, and possibly Everton could challenge based on teams's recent form. Of course Liverpool could suddenly rediscover their spark, although I doubt it.

This has been a strange season too. So don't rule out something crazy yet.

This title is up for grabs. I think the three favourites are us, United, and Leicester. I still think Leicester are the best we have played, but anything can happen with injuries, Covid, dodgy decisions etc.
We have a lot going for us. We have the best manager, the best defence, a lot of our squad have already had Covid, Sergio to come back plus a refreshed KDB for the business end of the season, and we are not playing Thursday night football. We will know by the end of February. We need to avoid defeat in those big matches at Anfield and against United and Spurs.

They aren't going away, there's momentum building and some of their players are improving as the season goes on - Shaw, Maguire, Pogba
They've had luck with injuries, VAR and in scraping out wins when not playing well.
Also another game they've fallen behind in and come back and win.
