United thread 2020/21

For a Club deep in debt and burning through cash like there’s no tomorrow- as usual United being linked with everyone… is there no limit to amount of debt they can take on.
I thought the same. Almost every single day the tabloids are reporting that the signing of Sancho is imminent, a reported £85m, but they have a crippling debt to take care of. They are also said to be in talks about an ‘improved’ contract for Pogbad (‘improved’ meaning they are going to offer him a monumental pay rise).
I would love to know how they are doing all this whilst simultaneously paying off that colossal debt, because I’ve seen a lovely Porsche and a couple of BMW’s I’d like: if the rags’ chief accountant would have a word with my bank manager I could get them all on hire purchase.

They're not....

paying off that colossal debt

They're servicing it.

It's a good question. How much "serviceable" debt are these fuckers allowed before someone at Uefa stays stop? Is it a billion, 5 billion?? I know they are a tourist attraction more than a football club but there has to be a limit

And that is the point. If the rags went bust tomorrow (oh perlease) the Glazers would not be one cent out of pocket. When contemplating signing an ageing European superstar they calculate how much media interaction they get . If they decide the wages, transfer fees are covered, they sign him. It has nothing to do with paying the debt off, it is like getting a car on a lease agreement

As long as Mr Gill is in his role they can do what they fuck they want and punish us for it.

I love it when players who've been shit for our rivals play well for their country, must boil piss with the rags and gooners watching Pogba and Xhaka tonight.

Noddy has probably rang the Glazers and asked them to sign this French number 6 - he’s never seen this lad play before but he likes the look of him.

If anybody is interested, they're about to show the second half of the Sick Swan after the adverts on channel 402, SkySp PL HD. I was going to go to bed, but i think I might stay up for about 45 more minutes!
