As I’ve said before, that comment by the pisscan brought us more publicity than the original poster did.On top of it all, the real lasting legacy is it prompted the noisy neighbours comment.
'...contained in the hippy-crack smoking persona of a 20-year-old coming off a mediocre season and with only 18 Premier League goals to his name.'This has aged like milk;-

The funny thing was the amount of piss boiling our poster made and it was true. Playing for those lot he had not played in Manchester bar games v Us. Taking a star player direct from a rival and some of them even thought they had received a transfer fee from us when they did not get a penny.
Their poster is desperate, not true as he had played for us for years in Manchester for the younger teams plus the little matter of they are not in Manchester and any city fans who sees it just chuckles at the desperation of them and certainly not the piss boiling our original poster made amongst that lot.
Great find. Best article I've read in a while. I expect the exact same if we sign Grealish, they'll be sitting it right alongside Sancho - I'm sure they'll bring up CL experience and exposure to the German league etc, etc, etc.....This has aged like milk;-

So the logic behind that article is that three players, none of whom is still at the swamp, would turn out to be better acquisitions than one, who is still at City. This has aged like milk;-

What's that old saying about imitation being the sincerest form of flattery?
I work in the travel industry and always send the cunts to the Etihad when they ask. There’ll be a lot of tourists going in the wrong direction if they’re using that as a guide trying to get the swamp next season.
