Ronaldo would have been a poor signing for City. At his age, he thrives in counter attack teams like Portugal, not teams that play patient possession football. We would have had to build the team around him, which would have come at the cost of other players. Rashford, Greenwood and Ronaldo is a very strong front 3 that would over power most teams, but as the Germany-Portugal game at Euro 2020 showed, there's a lot of vulnerability down the flanks as those players won't like tracking back.
