Fake Ron is reportedly on (depending which rag you read) anywhere between £12.5m and £26m a season AFTER TAX.

No idea what the other 2 are on, but it won't be cheap.

So glad we told him to f*ck off. The media narrative would have been the exact opposite of the shite they are spewing today.
 
Watched the Arsenal game at a beachpub due to my holls ib Greece. Ran into a couple. She a Cityfan. He a rag. Their 1 year old kid undecided. Yet.

They had the best 24 hrs. since they got married. Ronaldo not a blue. Ronaldo a red.
We all agreed a 36 year old should be playing at Old Trafford.

Must admit the rag applauded our display vs Arsenal. And he was very complementary about us.

And no. He was no wearing a Norwich scarf
 
I fully expect Ronaldo to turn up peacocking at Old Trafford any day now but i note that united's statement says they've only reached agreement with Juventus. So well done for reaching agreement with the club after Ronaldo already left. Good job.

The media was built on both red shite. It will never change. I am shocked that no matter how much media help the Scousers have had over the years they still could only manage 1 league title…stupendous;)
 
Name a team that was subject to a (originaly accepted) takeover bid of Xmillion (ie the value of the entire club at that instant and a reasonable punt to the future) the same football year they then spent an almost identical net (not gross) spending transfers in of Xmillion.

if you’re struggling, this is well before FFP was a twinkle in the eye of uefa.

It’s also well before ‘ruining the game’ became a goto for describing other clubs.

it’s also well before ‘organic growth’ could be used to describe this unprecedented season spend on the back of previous years million losses.

it’s well before outside investment (share issue to raise money) in a football club became a byword for ‘buying the league’
