The Rags are all about social media, as that's what brings sponsors in and that's exactly what the big media outlets watch for and hence give good coverage to. It's just a huge scam that works in this day and age due to the number of kids and young adults whose lives are dependant on being spoon fed favourable stories about their club but also negative media about their foes - in this case City.

Ronaldo - untouchable due to massive social media following.

Pogba - see above.

Rashford - see above. This lad has played a blinder. He is nothing but average, but his social media presence is 'massive'. Love it.

No matter how bad they get and how much harm they may be doing to the team on the pitch, they will not be moved on.

Me Dad bought some Fabulon and spent ages sticking it perfectly on said table. About 10mins later out of the oven comes a casserole dish ,onto the previous heat resistant table. Perfect casserole shaped burned hole in Fabulon. Anyway back on topic.
