You'll have to bring up the subject very sensitively as they will have lost interest in football as money has ruined it and its just not the same anymore bless them, whilst gently reminding them how much they spunk a week on the prancing showpony and how high their wage bill is considering they are 28 points behind us. Ask them if they can spell irrelevant

To be fair, I'm a fair, easy going and sensitive person so I'll take the following on the gloves..

Oil money
No fans
Small club
Football's changed
Haven't won the CL
Fcuked when Pep goes
Madrid will knock you out on Wednesday
Don't watch the rags 'cos can't get tickets
Biggest club in the world
Trillion fans
Own money
Manageable debt
20 times
Packed theatre of dreams
Wait until our new manager rocks up
Wait until our new owners rock up

Once all that's off their chests after the first 5 minutes, hopefully one of them will get the beer in and we can then chat about the here and now which will no doubt cover PL football from 2013 onwards, I'm hoping I can get some positive feedback from them on..

Trophies won in the last decade
Favourite managers
Crumbling stadia
Chances of winning the new European Conference Cup, whatever it's called..
Finishing outside the fabled top 6
Yet another new manager
What's Ole up to now
Brentford next, tough team to beat
What's happened to that banner
37 year old centre forwards
Ealing Haaland, is he any good
Is winning stuff really overrated
Isn't 28 a massive number
The good old days

I'll try and enjoy the afternoon..!

I'm off for a few beers with 3 rags tomorrow, (me and 3 rags ffs, I won't let the team down, promise) do I talk football or do I need to be diplomatic and bang in about kids and holidays?

I know the answer but just need a second opinion..
Keep away from football. Tell them about your new business venture designing banners for display in sporting arena and ask their advice or if they have any experience or knowledge on the subject.

Bumped into a Rag at a junior football match yesterday.
He had the rag shirt on and ordinary shorts.
I noticed a rag tattoo on his leg so I said “ I know a person who is very good at laser removals”.
His reply “I don’t even watch them on TV anymore”
Smug Mr Junkie :-)

Don’t get that answer when your kitted out with full rag clothing plus a tattoo on display you should own it and be still defending your team. When we were in the lower divisions I wore my city shirt with pride.

Hi guys.
I am an aspiring poet I hope to make my way into the big time, maybe one of them Saturday night slots, Britain's Got Talent ?
Anyway here's my offering to ITV
Fuck em all
Fuck em all
The long the short and the tall
If you see any red shit
Then fuckin' well boot it
Come on the lads fuck em all.
Don’t give up your day job.

And don’t ring Britain's Got Talent; let them ring you.

;-)

Yeah, so did I.

I even wore it the night we were relegated to the third tier.
