But what a circus of a club they’ve become. They’re, what? 4th after 7 games, as close as a raft of other clubs, but the vultures circle after a draw. Not after a poor run, but one game dropping points. A patchwork quilt of a team, bed-blockers on far-too-comfy contracts, over-promoted youngsters who’ll be kicked black and blue and retire at 30, plus panic-buy Names and prima donnas, with a caretaker boss they daren’t admit was a panic hire, and an even more panicky purchase. Who expects perfection from them? Teamwork, effort, and a sense of common purpose would be the most I could expect from that lot.

They’re fucked - even if they win the league this year. Winning the league without any long term strategy would only hasten their demise. There is however even less chance of that happening than our next boss being Garth Crooks.

Rumour has it that the paperboy will be sacked at the end of the month. The rags will then appoint an interim manager until gigsy gets out.

for me the premier league setup was all united idea and no matter how long the football league went on utd and fergie was never winning it ? the premier league was made for united and all the power went from liverpool to united over night ? ask yourself why it took liverpool 30 years to win it
You know what it may not be so untrue that ............. imagine if Say Villa had won it that first season and Blackburn the next ........ the PL brand would not have took off ........ it needed a club that had a load of plastic glory hunters that would go out and buy Sky dishes and that was Man U

I agree. In the Premier League with Everton and West Ham he has done incredible jobs with both clubs and that's him been given time, I know at the rags their are different expectations but he wasn't given the time to get it right nowhere near what he needed. That's their problem though they are entitled spoiled brats and want everything now now now...At least with Moyes he has a system a style of play and his teams have an identity. Ole will never have that because he is clueless.
Incredible jobs at clubs with little pressure on them ....... how many time did Everton bottle the big games ????? Same with West Ham ........... if City win the league this season and Pep did one do you think they would be looking at a manager who hasn’t won anything ?????

its was utd baby and no other team was winning the first premier league title and the sheff wednesday game proved it when they played until utd score the winner

If PR7 has this "win at all costs mentality" then he must already be voicing his opinion that some players and indeed the manager aren't good enough. Bollocking fathead last week for bringing the ball out from defence in the style of a pissed up elephant. Won't be long before Wank Biscuit is dropped for his Portugese team mate Dalot
