Sorry, maybe I should have said the “right-wing press” instead. If you don’t think this Spectator piece will be politically motivated though then that’s up to you.
It’s a right wing political magazine which used to be edited by the current Prime Minister, running a smear campaign against someone who publicly embarrassed the current Prime Minister.
I don’t think you can realistically be accused of bringing politics into it unnecessarily when it is already such a politically loaded scenario

As @gordondaviesmoustache (I think) said recently, that’s such a wank sobriquet. Obviously I had to Google what it meant first (sobriquet that is, not wank).
My innate sense of modesty makes me hesitate before taking credit, or being the centre of attention, but it was me.

Article coming out tomorrow from the Spectator about Saint Marcus and how he has allegedly benefited commercially from all his campaigns over the last 18 months.

Be interesting to read.
No shit he's "benefited commercially". Through his good works he's (deservedly) received way more fame and attention than he would've otherwise, and all that translates into endorsements and whatever else. Ask the hungry kids who've gotten meals because of him if they care.

It was ruled out for handball, the ball just brushed his hand (accidentally) before he put it in the net.
Fucking jammy red twats!!!
My memory was that Anelka almost caught the ball and knocked it to the Goat who duly scored. It thought it was handball at the time but it didn't stop me going bugshit with the other 3,000 of us in the swamp.

People profit from things a lot worse. If he has profited who cares? He deserves it!

He literally fed thousands of children within the last year and made sure they didn't go hungry. That obviously makes him far more marketable and profitable.

We all know the real reasons he's being attacked.

Don't care he's a United player, he's a very decent person and a credit to this country and this city.
He didn't ''literally feed thousands of children'' at all... his PR/social media team campaigned for the government to use taxpayers money to provide food for children of feckless parents, tax payer money from workers who earn a fraction of what he earns, and he did it whilst employing various methods to avoid paying the full tax liabilities on his own immense earnings.

Exactly, and Rashford isn’t really one of them. *why would I ban you for that?*
Was a poor attempt at humour re the banning thing mate. Didn’t wanna come across as a twat but as someone who doesn’t particularly care about any political party it does get very tiresome to read political jibes from both sides seemingly in most threads these days.

My memory says that the ball merely brushed Anelka's gloved right hand before he crossed it to the goat.
The flight of the ball was barely affected (if at all).
So nearly a double over them that season.

Yeah, seem to recall it was pretty harsh at the time, although that could be the blue-tinted specs. Tried looking for a video of it online to refresh the memory but no joy so far.

Got to agree with this version, ball bounced up, ball to hand as they say these days....goal should have counted even with the 'clearer' older rules.

Yes, pal. As I said in my previous post it just accidentally touched/brushed his hand,in those days if it wasn't deliberate hand to ball, then it wasn't an offence, but as usual the red twats got all the decisions going their way.

No chance Alan Wiley was going to allow a last minute winner against United at Old Trafford!

Alan Wiley, now there's a name from the past who should be in a rogues gallery.
Didn't he award a penalty to Leeds when we played them at Elland Road and Alan Smith was fouled outside the area, but that myopic wanker decided to give them a penalty !!!

You don't really believe what you posted do you ? Literally fed thousands!!

I also assume you are playing the race card with 'the real reasons he's been attacked,' very poor.

Yeah, that penalty and red card was another scandalous decision. Keegan was fuming afterwards:

"I don't know what Manchester City have done to this referee but it's clear we've done something and it's his fault that we've got nothing."
