He's clearly been sent a video montage of how we're officiated and thought, "Fuck that! My diving shithousery isn't going to cut it there"

Viola, he ends up back at PiGMol's favourite bastard lovechild of a club.

It's a re-match made in heaven (hell).

Dive, foul, dive, foul, dive foul, ad infinitum; all accompanied by Sky/BT feeding us their biased -"ooooooooooh, that looked a BAD one"- shit, as he then miraculously dusts himself off and drags himself from the operating theatre he was "seconds away from", and heroically bangs in the resulting free-kick.

Think of Liverpool's title* winning season, but on steroids.

Get your money on un*t*d to win the title with a record number of goals from free-kicks from just outside the area (penalties are soooooo 2017/18/19)

PiGoml and betting syndicates all over Southeast Asia must be wetting themselves at the prospect.

I'm also guessing that's some proper midfielders and a decent right back in hold. Teams are going to run through them at will. Like usual

Ronaldo has been a great player and could possibly do a job. But he’s 36 and not getting any better. He went to Juventus to win Champs League and ended up finishing 2nd in the Italian league. So this guarantees nothing.
Because of the sheer amount of money Oles spent they will be there or thereabouts. But they have a poor manager and midfield and this changes nothing.

@Falcao He wanted us bud. WE said no thanks. You've strengthened this season, congrats.

In all seriousness who cares what the truth is. It never felt right on either side. There are certain things you don’t do, but his massive ego was stopping him for a while from seeing the light as he would have destroyed his legacy. I know people bring up Denis Law but those were different times

He’s just been found out as a mercenary.
£480,000 per week!
There’s no way he’s going there for the exciting technical football.
If that’s the reason we didn’t get him, I am glad. There’s no way he’s worth that wage bill.
Interesting to see how those figures are ‘massaged’ by Ushited.
I’m now going to assume ‘multi billions of dollar debt’ doesn’t feature in FFP.
You mean you are not mesmerized by Lindelof and Maguire prodding the ball between themselves for 15mins, whilst each taking another 15mins to think up the next pass?

Sam Lee showing his true colours there, not much of a shocker for a rag, he can hardly take the gloat out of his sentence

Sam Lee is bi-polar I'm sure.
Flits from one state of mind to another in a heartbeat.
He changes his mind more times than the weather.

I know the football media in this country is fucking useless, but how could they have been so wrong about City apparently on the verge of signing the fake one?

Unless it was a strategy, by us, similar to the ones for the piano player and wrong said Fred…

The good news is, while Ronaldo is still quite good, this makes absolutely no sense for them.

He’s a far better goalscorer than anything else they’ve got so of course it makes sense.

Their squad is every bit as good as ours now.

I really don't care either but pretty obvious we wanted him. The is a 0% chance the club wouldn't have denied it yesterday if not.

We did obviously go for him because we are desperate for goals, but we all knew once the people at the swamp put a bid in he'd go there

Can’t see us finishing above the rags and the chavs sadly. All on Pep if we do because he’s been let down by the club this summer
How has Pep been let down by the club this summer?

It seems we were never after the narcissistic show pony and we were unwilling to match Levy's ridiculously unrealistic valuation of Harry Hotspur?

If 480k is correct i can see very easily why we walked away. I don't care if Sam Lee was balls deep in Txiki's arse there is no way we would pay a 36yo that amount of cash, absolutely no chance.

I would have accepted him here as a relationship of convenience and i can accept him not being here to. No strong feelings on it either way really. I would even wish him the best if he was not going to utd.
