I just don't understand how these twats manage to do it so regularly and they've been doing it for decades, even when they were successful they seemed to have far more 'lucky' undeserved wins than any other side.

All teams, City included, get maybe 2 or 3 fluky wins a season in games where the opposition were the better side... but these somehow manage to consistently do it in about one game in every three.

It's because as a team they are alright/good and will get outplayed in 10/12 games, we get outplayed in about 2 games a season

I think it's tactical. Basically, because their manager is inept, they don't really create chances from their amazing patterns of play. Instead, they rely on individual brilliance to win them the game. For the same reason, they don't dominate games like we do with their passing. But they do have quite a good defence and goalkeeper when they're all fit, so quite often the other team will play well but miss a load of chances (because most teams miss most of their chances most of the time), and then someone will do something brilliant and they'll go home a win in an otherwise pretty even game against a mid-table team. Solskjaer is to epitome of the "anyone could win with that group of players" criticism that's often thrown at Pep. They should dominate games, but they don't. All teams will win because of individual brilliance at times, but those nearly teams rely on it. Other teams like West Ham are the opposite, and so overperform based on the players they have.

Bang on. Their is no game plan, just a hope that someone might do something

Is scoring a dodgy last minute goal against Villarreal after being outplayed all game, really worthy of taking your shirt off in celebration?

not sure myself
It shows the level that they are at, They aren't a big club anymore, That last night was small time mentality celebrating a group stage win like that was pathetic.

Roll back to City v PSG at The Etihad last season we went through to the Champions League Final when the whistle blew you would think the lads won a game of Fifa! Celebrations went off in the dressing room but on the pitch it was another day at the office.

That's the level we are at compared to that bunch of shit.

The win keeps numbnuts job safe for a few more weeks, I’m ok with that.

without Fake Ronaldos goals he’d be a gonner by now. Signing Ronaldo and him carrying this team with his goals could be the thing that actually stops them moving forward and really challenging as it keeps their clueless manager in his job, lovely.

Wow the press slant on it is astounding, it’s like they’ve turned over 2009 Barcelona in the last minute of a game not the Spanish version of Burnley. Oh well keeps the native green and gold rags from rioting for a few more weeks. Some one will absolutely hammer this lot soon I fucking hope it’s us in November.

The two company scum fans are giving it big in the office this morning , they genuinely can't understand why the rest of us keep saying things like "good to see Ole get a win last night" or "Ole is really building some team there" one of them genuinely said too the other he thinks they are beginning to turn us into scum fans !!!!! Lol !!!!! They genuinely believe that the bus driver is in the edge of greatness now . Mind you at the start of the week they had a conversation about who would be taking over after the villa Lose !
