All three are very good sides, but each has weaknesses we know about. Chelsea are the most likely to spend in an attempt to correct their problem which I see as an inconsistency in attack. Liverpool midfield is very ordinary, think they are stuck with that for now.
We know our problem is finishing, where is that super striker?

Why ?. So that they might keep the paperboy ?
Even if the best manager in the world went there what could he do?
The first line in the contract would have to state that the GPC isn't allowed anywhere near Carrington. As soon as you do that though he undermine you via his media lackys.
Then there is the pr37 problem. To drop him means rag plc have to admit they fucked up no way is that going to happen.
The problem isn't olly, he us just a puppet

And they'll be full of arrogance and the usual swagger leading up to playing us, fractured-faced Ferdinand will be telling everybody how 'they're back, with Ollie at the wheel' and we'll give them such a fucking beating all the little raggies will go back into enforced hibernation - until of course yet another easy cup-draw sees them at home to some non-league team and the Portuguese ponce scores a hotly contentious penalty in the 99th minute.

Yep. And their fans will be unbearable.

I don't even talk football with them at all now. They've lost so many recently, i just don't mention it, think that hurts them more, just an irrelevance. But, the second we don't win a game, they're non stop gloating.

A weird breed. Clutching onto past glory. That's why they find Ronaldo so comforting, and, till recently, Ole.

Salah is on fire now. I think you take the best player from any team and they obvioiusly dip a bit or have to make adjustments, but I do agree some still think we're a one-man team.

We'll see--but your overall point that it's you and Chelsea as the top two teams is the general consensus anyway.

Statistically speaking Chelsea are due a big dip in form. Liverpool at least have form for grinding out wins on their bad days and annihilating teams on their good days.

Take Salah out and you still grind wins, somehow. Your team has that iron will back, unfortunately.
