Pochettino has got the perfect CV for the rags..

Won fuck all at Southampton and spuds, mind you no fucker wins anything with spuds, then landed the PSG job who play in in a one club farmers league .... and managed to finish second..

To be fair he has won a French cup which is sort of classed as a trophy which automatically puts him ahead of the ex paperboy's achievements so I can see why the rags are attracted to him..

Get him signed up pronto so he can build on the solid foundations the ex paperboy has left..

Foundations that include a fixed, leaking roof, a new lock on the busted door that the knuckle dragging hoards kicked in the other week and a rags team stuffed with international players such as..

Maguire
Shaw
De Gea
Wan Bassaka
Fred
Mctomminey
Rashford
Matic
Jones
Tellis
Marshall
Pogba
Bailey

Not forgetting their 70 year old strike force pairing of Cavani and Ronaldo

Ffs, how hard can it be managing international players of that calibre to a trophy or 10 ?

He just needs to get a tune out of them..

To be fair, the ex paperboy did manage to get a bit of a tune out of them during his tenure, however it was the sort of tune you would hear when a fully kitted up one man band falls down 2 flights of stairs..

Give him a couple of seasons, his reputation will be trashed, confidence completely drained, hair a snowy white colour, 3 stone lighter and be forever known as the man who took the rags down..

Then after a 12 month sabbatical he'll be refreshed, back on the management circuit and bang in the mix for the Watford job..!

I'd rather they didn't get Pochettino. His stock has fallen on these shores but he'd be decent for United. They've got technically very good players and Pochettino will make them work very hard. PSG are not a side built in Pochettino's image; he's hamstrung by the fact they have the laziest front 3 in history and there's nothing he can do about it. At United it'd only be Ronaldo to worry about and he can work around him.

I'm hopeful they can get Rodgers on board or offer Zidane enough money to change his mind, of the decent options that are available.
Yes it’s only Ronaldo who’s lazy, because Pogba and Fernandes work very hard, especially in defen . . . Oh, wait.

Even if Utd improve with what they have, they’re STILL not as good as Chelsea, as Liverpool or as us. They’re miles behind as an organization. And if they miss out on CL this season, their ability to attract the highest quality players — even if they could somehow fire-sale their old ones — is challenged.

Until they are willing to press the reset button entirely, break it ALL down, and finish 11th or whatever for 2-4 years, and come back with a committed long-term manager and a young, hungry side, they’d STILL need the best three clubs in the land to falter, and for a long enough gap to allow them to reconstruct. AND hope no one else passes them by in the meantime structurally.

And there’s no way in the world the Glazers are going to press that reset button. They can’t afford to. This was a leveraged buyout. An LBO. We can all read about how and why they’re done. Because the owners want to turn this thing around? Turn it into a lean, mean, top tier organization? No. Fucking. Way. They have giant EBITDA margins. They want to suck the cash out of this and finance the future with leverage. Look at the Ronaldo deal! Look at why they did it. Look at the share price after it. Look at the $150m stock sale the Glazers did after the stock popped 20% because of it. Look at how little control they gave up even as they sold. And look at the share price now. Pump and dump is a stupid term used too often by those who don’t understand finance, but that’s what happened.

United is fucked with a corn cob in its tailpipe until the Glazers go away. And even then, whomever the new owners are have to make the right decisions and have the money, the patience and the time.

This isn’t the bottom for them. It isn’t CLOSE.

They. Are. Fucked.

Let them have Poch, it takes his name out of the who will replace Pep thread ! It's Poch for fucksake one of those managers that the press build up to be this mythical manager, when in fact he is just a mediocre one, along with the other great football genius Bielsa.
As plenty of posts state on here as long as the undead pisscan ghoul haunts the corridors and car park at old toilet then nothing changes there football wise, and as long as the Glaziers can wring cash for themselves out of them nothing will change from the upper management/owners side.
The scum find themselves in a strange position in that they are locked into a situation where they can't do anything drastic for fear of upsetting the money flow, but actually do need to do something drastic to bring themselves into the 21st century and so they end up in the position they are in .

Once the interim interim Carrick is done unless #BIC really kicks in, we'll be onto the proper interim who could be anybody from baconface himself to Bruce. In fact they're such a shambles I'd not put it past them to 'Give it to bloody Yorkie'.

However the main gig from next season...ZZ isn't seemingly interested, really can't see Poch leaving a comfy one team league where he could actually win stuff for a few years. I'd hope Bobby will have too much about him to even consider it.

All I can see is Brendon he's fallen on hard times at Leicester and more importantly he's pushing himself for the job. This is the crucial bit, the rags really can't to seen to do a Newcastle and publicly have managers turn them down.

Prediction Carrick.....Bruce.... Rodgers.

I'm aware that's more thought and planning than UMS/EW have put into the club in years.

I used to rate Pochettino, but after moving to PSG he has shown he isn't all that is made out to be. Managing at the very top is a different game. At United, he will implement a pattern of play and some semblence of attacking football, but good luck trying to impose high press and work-rate with the likes of Ronaldo, Rashford, Pogba, Matic etc.
