If Raggy Nick is so brilliant why is he the interim manager? Why not just give him the job for real?
Because the Glazers aren't sure if they can control him, and they want/need an out if they can't. They will never allow a wholesale rebuild, because that will take years of wandering in the desert and even more money whilst damaging the "brand" built of "success."

Also, let's face it, after the revolving door they've been, it'd be terribly embarrassing to have to shit-can yet another guy. So they name him as a long-term interim so if it doesn't get turned around, they aren't sacking him because he's failed -- he's leaving because he's "interim". And then the consulting gig can be whatever they want it to be, including paying him for two years of doing nothing. They "save face", he gets paid and burnishes his resume.

The Glazers should sell this football club ASAP before its value is further tarnished. But they probably won't as long as they can suck liquidity out of it.

That prick who supports Forest pretentiously calls him Rarnyick

Just watched the Keane & Carragher spat. Comedy Gold

I didn't really understand what they were arguing about and found it boring. It's obvious Ronaldo was bought for commercial reasons and with no thought to how he would fit into the team. Keane must know this, he's not that stupid. These engineered spats are all about keeping the Rags relevant during their wilderness years.

So when they are going on that he inspired klopp and tuchel, what actually happened was:
He beat klopp in a game who then changed his style a bit.
He gave a former player a job with the youth team and never spoke to him again.
Yeah, Klopp was influenced by Wolfgang Frank who in turn was influenced by Arrigo Sacchi.
