They don’t score many that’s why!
I think it's more than that, it all just feels so forced and fake, like most other aspects of that circus of a club.

Like I said, I really do think they're instructed to always perform over the top wild goal celebrations, perhaps for the benefit of the cameras and highlight reels or perhaps they believe it gives them some kind of psychological advantage and has a demoralising effect on the opposition.

Whatever the reason it is a very cringeworthy and small time thing to do.

More like for the social media count on Instagram Twitter we know how much Edwood bangs on about social media numbers.

From today's latest puff piece on the BBC website

"Ralf Rangnick's stuttering start at Old Trafford at least sparked back to life quickly enough for United to end the year in the top six, as they have done every year since 1989."

When's the parade?!?!?
Two games in hand, so only a matter of time before they catch CIty said a prick from the BBC.

I heard “ Ralf maintains his unbeaten start “

Norwich 20th
Newcastle 19th
Burnley 18th

I mean lucky twat

They'll get murdered once they play somebody half decent.
Actually brought this point up last night to a rag, his response was, "you can only play against the crap they put in front of us, and if you'll notice, were improving every time we play."
Incredibly delusional young man.

In consecutive games against the bottom three:

Needed a penalty to squeeze past the worst team in the country 1-0, against relegation certainties, having been more than matched over the 90 minutes

Thoroughly outplayed and outclassed by the second worst team in the country whose two best players limped off injured, extremely fortunate to escape with a 1-1 draw

A thoroughly unconvincing 3-1 home win over currently the third worst side in the country, missing their first choice England keeper and in-form record signing forward, along with several others. Who could only name seven subs due to Covid and injuries.

So that’s consecutive games against the three worst teams in the league. 7pts, +3 goal difference, one clean sheet.

They’re back, baby!

I love it when the rags and the media get excited about a few results against crap teams. It's just another false dawn and observing the fallout, once they realise the truth, is hilarious.

This happened in late summer, they got an easy start. Once they hit the corresponding fixtures that got Ole sacked the natives will be restless.

Hold on to your hats… they are back!

Aphex

’At the helm’ is a slight variation from ‘at the wheel‘ and I don’t suppose even the sycophants are bold enough to use the wheel again.

Once the latest idiot fails they will have to work a little harder for their taglines.

in the cockpit perhaps or at the joystick could work at a pinch

its absolutely pathetic and I’m thoroughly enjoying it. I know a few decent reds who are in dispair and can’t see anything other than ongoing heartache this season. Stupendous, drink it in.

What is a turnover? I've only heard used for rugby.
A turnover is when Burnley have the football and the rags win possession

Then Burnley win possession and united win it back

Then Burnley win possession and united win it back.

Then Burnley wi..... Well I think you can work out what happens in the next 87 minutes without me typing it out. That's how easy it is to break records I wish we could do that.

I think we discussed it on here, when the paperboy was sacked - the run of easier games made the decision for them. If there was a game against the big teams they would have backed off.

Cavani is another one for doing that, in fact all united players celebrate each and every goal as though they've just scored a 90th minute worldie to win the CL final, I honestly think they must be contractually obliged to do it for the benefit of the cameras.

Every time one of them scores even the simplest or scrappiest of tap ins they run around like deranged lunatics, screaming and leaping and punching the air or striking a pose like they're some form of supreme being to receive the adulation of the supporters.
I think the term for them is, cunts, pitfiful shit ones

Exactly, to have a lot of turnover, you've have to lose possession a lot, keep possession = no turnover.

I reckon he had little choice in the end

the window was nearly over, he was so far down the line with City by all accounts that most other bridges had probably been burned/other clubs off the table, and after they blew us out the water with the wage offer he probably had no other choice. Bet he’s gutted with it all.

Completely his fault and zero sympathy. Instead of being a money grabbing PR machine to generate as much cash for himself as possible, he could have joined city for a final 2 years in an illustrious career spanning 4 countries and gone out with a bang. He would have added another premier league title, potentially a couple of other trophies along the way too and been regarded as one of, if not the greatest player in the last 20 years to grace this league. What has happened due to joining United is the complete opposite. He won’t win a trophy, and most people don’t feel sorry for him. He made his bed, let him lie in it. Granted he is clearding £525,000 a week after the taxman so his bed will be a rather big one with pornstars feeling him grapes but tough shit.
