I'm struggling to see what gap arsenal and Tottenham have to make up

61 Arsenal
69 Spurs

93 City.

Both teams would need to make up the 7 wins on us. We would need to drop and lose an extra 3/4 games and the chasing team make up the ground by winning 3/4 extra games and scoring 20 more goals.

If you believe both will happen go to the bookies. I do not and will not doubt the champions. We can still have an off season and still be in the mix.

Arsenal and Spurs will not challenge us or Liverpool for the title. I'm surprised anyone who's watched these teams over the last few years would think so. Seriously, these City and Liverpool teams are not just the best in Europe, they are the best teams ever seen in English football.

Us/Liverpool have set the bar so high now that you will need to get, at least, 90-95 points to feel confident about having a chance at winning the title. I don't remember either Arsenal or Spurs coming within 25 points of that - from memory. Us and Liverpool would have to mysteriously drop a lot of points and they'd have to be - for them - perfect. It's not going to happen.

I could be wrong of course, stranger things have happened, but over the course of a season you cannot argue with the team who wins the title being the best team. And I think the top 2 teams will be City again, then Liverpool. Spurs, Arsenal will be scrapping a long away down in 4th-5th along with United as I expect Chelsea to get 3rd spot.

In fact, if you put really fancy them to finish inside the top 4, you'll more than double your stake

For those bed wetters that actually think they have an outside chance of winning the league, go ahead and take the 25/1 on it happening; ignoring City being 2/7 on while you're at it

Bookies have a lot of previous of getting these things wrong
