I was reading up on The Rock Of Gibraltar before. When the argument between the gpc and the Colmore Mafia was in full flow, rag fans threatened to disrupt and get the Cheltenham Festival abandoned as a protest against Magnier.
So not only did the gpc hasten their decline the fans did as well. Oh how I laughed.
