Ian Darkeside on BT saying that Magliar upfront could be an option for Southgate in the World Cup was a highlight inbetween his constant reminders and rimming of Gashfoot and Greggs as certain picks for the England squad.
Surprised he didn’t suggest that we could do with making the midfield a bit stronger, so why not see if we can tempt Scholes out of retirement again!

As bad as a manager Scholes was, I would prefer to listen to his views on the rags than the media who just blow smoke. If Scholes says it was a shit performance with no ideas then I reckon he is nearer the mark. FFS who these days sticks a huge lump up front and then lumps it aimlessly forward? Just need Villa to turn up on Saturday now. Wonder if the media will bill it as Mings v Maguire, who goes to the word cup?

The nearest Maguire should be to the tournament is playing it on FIFA 23

I was in a boozer earlier this week with my City cap on chatting along with Mrs Moon to a guy in a red coat & his wife.

He passed some comment jokingly about me being a blue (had a North West accent) and said he lived in Stoke so, I started talking about the 2011 final only for him to look blank and say he was a rag.

You know how the conversation went (kept it civil as we were in mixed company), apparently he used to live in Chester which he seemed to think was an obvious location to be a rag...I did point out that Chester had a team who would have been in the league when he was younger and that both dips sides would have been closer to where he lived.

He just kept ticking boxes, used to be a season ticket holder so he said, doesn't go anymore as it's not football now, all money etc etc.

Fucking balloon.
hate cunts like that.......neck starts twitching to do flying head butt

Is that what Scholes said 'shit performance' ?

It is still hard to believe 16 months ago that the Gregg's Poster Boy was hailed (constantly) the best full back in the world during the Euros.....
It was one of those occasions were if the pundits heard it or said it 35 times that they actually started to believe it

See the scum have found another fukin gem………

Oh the lad they bought of A Madrid 2 years ago don’t count as academy player for me! The media were saying it about Sancho who we bought at 14!

A true academy player are the ones who came through at 11 or younger where the club mould them into the footballers they are..
