I wouldn't be so sure, I live down on Pompey/ Saints border & its full of themHe can’t be a big hit in Pompey Country either I wouldn’t have thought
It was brewing alright in fact it was a fuckin roasting at Middlesbrough :-)I know we won fuckall but I always see those times as when we turned a corner. Just felt something was brewing.
But he wasHad Ericsson not been upto it physically wise Brentford wouldn't have renewed his contract & no one would of mentioned loyalty
Plus, they know where the bodies are buried. And still on the payroll
Oh right so because he's fulfilled his contract & it suits Brentford he should stay. Why wasn't he offered a longer contract thenBut he was
It would be completely understandable if Brentford weren't willing to give Eriksen a new contact if he didn't prove to be physically wise. Brentford let him train with them for a couple of weeks before giving him game time. Brentford took a risk giving him a one year deal when nobody else was willing to take the chance with him. Personally if I was a Brentford fan I'd be pretty pissed off with Eriksen unless he was joining another club that was playing Champions League football and challenging for trophies.Had Ericsson not been upto it physically wise Brentford wouldn't have renewed his contract & no one would of mentioned loyalty
I have a bit of loyalty, but if someone wants to triple my wages, my loyalty is out the window. Its dreadful really. Most of us have a bit of loyalty to our employer but footballers despite being paid handsomely seem to lack this basic quality
Well said. Who knows how his family are feeling. In fairness his Mrs did lose a child at birth not much more than two months ago
