I watched them against Villa. He has them changing the way they play and are currently "in-between" styles. Lots of long diagonals to the wingers with slow build up in the middle. If they get the balance right I can see them beating most "lesser" PL teams just due to the quality of player that they have, but until and if they get it right, they will struggle against better teams. Let's hope they don't click as the investment they have made should be delivering better results.

He whacked slabhead up front and then played Ratboy as right back, they were shit against Villa even though the commentary team on the match kept blowing smoke up their arse.

They IMHO are genuinely shit and Ten Bob is trying to invent the wheel whilst making a very good impression of being a snake oil salesman.

It's been that way since you-know-who retired, they keep chucking money at it with no apparent strategic plan. Ten Bob has a decent CV but without the strength of character to bomb out Ronaldo as soon as he walked through the door I can't see him being much more successful than the previous managers since 2013.

Ten Bob's doing a fine job. It's a very cunning plan he's stumbled upon - appointing a disgruntled, greedy, lazy, ageing player as team captain just days after throwing a strop about being a substitute.
You could see it was slowly starting to reinvigorate the team. Very slowly. Some might say a little too slowly, and that there wasn't a whole lot of improvement on the first day he tried it, but, give it time lads. "Slowly, slowly, catchee monkey..." as they say in Ordsall and Cadishead.
Players like Rashford and Elanga didn't quite cut the mustard at the weekend but, just you wait - as they say at O.T.; just around the corner, there's another corner soon to be turned. When Sancho and Fred come back in - pow!!
And we all know why; it's in their DNA. Revenge against Villa on Thursday, and - I tell you what - Barcelona must be shitting themselves. Just you wait and see.

I think their three is sub standard. Sancho Rashford, and Antony are garbage. They will not progress with this level of player.
