My mistake.It was the GM Global Marketing Manager who was let go.
The Audi driving rag players had to return their cars.
So of the last two Sponsorship deals.... The guy who signed the 1st promptly got fired for overpaying & the next company has almost gone under with investors questioning why on earth they paid so much for the rights.

Make great reading in their new glossy marketing brochure to prospective sponsors....

Not just prospective sponsors but prospective buyers/investors who will see a major revenue stream become another potential liability to add to the debt and need for investment in players and infrastructure. Serious questions will be asked about what is going on in other aspects of their finances and running of the club?

It is almost as if the ghost of Peter Swales has returned to haunt them instead of us.
 
The BBC even surpass themselves when reporting on last night's bi-election in Stretford. I'm not quite sure what relevance this has but the BBC will mention United wherever they can.

The Stretford and Urmston constituency includes Manchester United's Old Trafford stadium.

Ten Haag says that the rags can't compete with 'state owned' clubs.
Does he mean CITY?
Needs calling out if so!
But they spent more on transfer and wages than us, so technically that isn’t correct. What he means is, the scum can’t compete with a well run club like city that aren’t hundreds of million in debt, with owner like the glazers only interested in milking the club
