Can someone enlighten me - by PM if necessary - what's the story behind the absent Sancho?

Wondered if he's leaving and trying to get that scummy stink off himself. Will City get a cut from his next transfer fee as well, I wonder?

Scum
I'm going off unconfirmed Twitter rumors. Probably whined to Ten Hag about his playtime or something, but has no self-awareness to realize he has been shite. Got shoved to train away from the first team for some attitude adjustment and fitness.

My guess is he didn't make the WC squad and loudly blamed Ten Hag for it.

Interestingly I’ve just read a thread on the caf about the impact of the new FFP rules on them, by a poster who seems to be their equivalent of our PB, bigbluebrain, petrusha, ZZZ - and anyone else I’ve missed!

His 1st long post seems to indicate that they will be fine.

His latest long post… well it has a statement in capitals, bold, red and exclamation marks :-)

In summary: united currently have an allowed transfer in budget of about £130m-150m… that’s a negative allowed budget!
They need to sell that much, just to not break the rules - with the accompanying sanctions if they don’t, before they can start thinking about buying.
Not only do they need to sell, but they need to sell players that are home grown/academy or have 0 amortisation value of their signing on fee left - if amortisation still exists, then unless they sell for considerably more than they bought, it’s a double whammy and further adds onto the 130-150 negative transfer budget.

They have no chance of achieving this…

The poster also indicates that he thinks Italian clubs are screwed. And that he’ll look at any impact on other PL clubs.

City appear to have played a blinder in all this, yet again, by ensuring the relevant figures and transfers for the previous 3 years are stunning.

I wonder what Liverpool’s figures will be.

Chelsea figures after making losses of 145m last season then went out and spent 270m will be one of the worse if not the worse figures a premier club have seen! Oh chelsea are still going to keep spending..

Mate of mine who is a rag says something is up with him all his social media has gone and he’s not training with the main team, very strange.
He's not gone and done a greenwood has he.
Imagine the media out cry if we had wasted 80 million plus his wages on a waste of space like him

As much as I hate United I always had a soft spot for Mata.

A classy player and seemed like a nice intelligent lad. Way too good for that shower.
Same here. Thought he wrecked the trajectory of his career going to that shitshow. He was tearing it up at Chelsea and never truly recaptured those heights after leaving.

I even wanted us to sign him from Valencia.

Who knows mate but it all seems dodgy, there is nothing in the papers about him, he was the next big thing for England and I don’t even remember him been mentioned at all in the run up or during the World Cup.

Same. I always thought his character and skilful style of play would’ve fit in well at City.

No idea, but Sancho is a wrong un that City are well rid of. From that moment he snubbed Phil when he was substituted I wanted him nowhere near the club. Absolute SHIT attitude.

Yet again we made the right call.

When some kid decides to go on strike because he wants more game time and a new contract thinking he knows better than the manager he can get the fuck out.

The media at the time droned on and on about how we let this ‘world class’ talent slip through the net. Yeah right.

He’s just another big time Charlie wannabe, fuck him.

Edit: so they will probably sell Rashford for whatever they can get , but would still not have enough.
Add in Maguire, AwB, dvb and quite a few others, and they’ll break even. It’s a squad gutting, and they already lost a load this summer. They’ll be playing many more u23/u21 and the performances of those squads in the past few years has been dire.

Big Ben is poised to strike
That analysis will come as a complete surprise to the denizens of the caf.

What sensible seventeen year old has a negotiating team of five as Sancho did?

Another reason why I don't buy papers or subscribe to sly etc
Me neither. I would not want Sky if it were free, truthfully. The rag wankfest began when the Premier league began, and it's been gathering pace ever since, like a runaway express train.
No club in this country gets as much fawning adulation as the rags (although the dippers are gathering momentum in that respect even as I speak). Rag games are featured on Sky more than any other club: Ratboy, Martin Tyler, and all the other main commentators and co-commentators are either ex-rags or rag supporters.

Sky Sports is nothing more than a rag fanzine. It exists only to spread propaganda to its rag followers: to appease the mindless drones who follow the club, and to ensure any negative issues about their cash-cow club that might arise are nipped in the bud and never see the light of day.
