We aren't as good either however hence them being closer
They have vastly improved and now should be seen as challengers again.....if we don't respond they go past us. If we get them in a cup game it's now 50/50

Its not 50/50. Your loss to them was a dodgy decision and mainly down to Pep deciding he wants to play 7D chess with his tactics. You play them again and you smash them imo as long as theres no dodgy tactics from Pep. If you can beat us at Emirates then you can beat them.

Every full game of their's I've endured sitting through this season they look just as limited in technical ability and ambition to play attractive, expansive football as they did under Mourinho or Solskjaer.

In every game the opposition have looked the better team, with more possession and attempting to play more attractive football with more attacking intent but have been unable to create or finish many clear goal scoring opportunities, mostly due to united parking the bus but also not helped by an infuriating lack of finishing ability which most teams and individuals players suddenly seem to develop when facing united.

They really are still park the bus hoofball merchants, which unfortunately can be an effective tactic, especially as many teams attempt to play decent, open football against them and get caught out and suckered punched being hit with a goal on the break, we need teams to start deploying the same style of defensive, negative, anti-football tactics against them.

It's interesting that you start with the incorrect perception that I haven't watched them. I gave.

Defensively they are vastly improved. Attack wise they have pace and are creating chances. They attack quickly and effectively using width, pace, quick forward passing and good movement off the ball. They have a forward line who can all chip in with goals What do you call expansive football

Parking the bus....immature byline to describe a style of football that is proven to work against the style that Pep plays. But it's jot just that either anymore...they ate having possession and dominating teams gor periods of games...the first half at yhe swamp they were our equal.

No one style of football can be generally cast as better than the other.....people/fans can have a preference, managers can have a preference but no one can definitively say one is better than the next..

The idea that teams roll over for them or in someway automatically become worse when playing against them is just an excuse to deride what a team achieves... Any advantage gained by any team psychology over another is down to either better preparation by one team or a lack of preparation by the other....not some fluke of chance but rather part of the game.

Any other club i,m with you any trophy is cause for celebration, that bunch of sanctimonious pricks is another matter, aided by the media love in you,d think they beaten us, the scousers, Chelsea and Arsenal on route to a champions league victory, not some tinpot trophy they took plesaure in deriding us for when we,ve won it.
